PAUL ADAMSON, 54, DIES; RITES HELD WEDNESDAY MORNING
 
Paul Adamson, 54, a resident of Holyoke for 35 years, passed away at 10:20 a.m. Monday, October 4, at his home here. He had been in failing health for some time.
 
The funeral service was conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 6, at the Lewis Funeral chapel, with Rev. James E. Raymond of the Assembly of God officiating. Interment was at Holyoke Memorial Park.
 
A son of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Adamson, John Paul Adamson was born November 14, 1910 at Fullerton, Nebraska. He came to Holyoke in 1930 and was united in marriage to Mildred Louise Hargreaves on December 22, 1931.
 
Mr. Adamson was a painter by trade, not only a house painter but also a painter of signs and murals. He sustained a severe back injury a few years ago but continued to be as active as possible with various painting and handicraft
projects at his home as long as his health permitted.
 
Preceding Mr. Adamson in death were his parents and an infant son, Douglas Leroy.
 
Survivors include his wife, Mildred; two brothers, T.H. Adamson, Buffalo, Wyoming, and Richard W. Adamson, North Platte, Nebraska; seven sisters, Mrs. Edna Schultz and Mrs. Shirley Scott, Fullerton, Nebraska, Mrs. Pearl
Cunningham, Arnold, Nebraska, Mrs. Bessie Smith, Mrs. Martha Cline and Mrs. Evelyn Kahle, Lincoln, Nebraska and Mrs. Susan Miller, Dayton, Wyoming; and other relatives and many friends.
 
A number of relatives were here yesterday for the funeral.

Mildred Louise Hargreaves Adamson
 
Mildred Louise Adamson was born Feb. 2, 1915 in Loveland and died Jan. 9, 2010 at Regent Park Nursing Home in Holyoke.
 
She was the third daughter born to Thomas and Edith Hargreaves. She was 3 years old when the family moved to Holyoke. She attended school at the elementary and Phillips County High School.
 
Mildred married Paul Adamson Dec. 22, 1931 where they resided in Drake and then moved to Holyoke. She was an avid gardener and her flowers were her passion. She could hardly wait for springtime to arrive each year.
 
Preceding Mildred in death were her parents, Tom and Edith Hargreaves; husband, Paul; infant son Douglas LeRoy; and three sisters, Catherine Loveland, Anna Mae Thackeray and Margaret Wright.
 
Survivors include two sisters, Florence Werner of Greeley and Dorothy Lohman and husband Ted of Great Falls, Mont.; brother-in-law Kenneth Wright of Denver; nephews, Duane Werner and wife Leslie, Jim Ellis, Tom Ellis, Gary Wright and Ron Lohman; nieces, Billie Maize, Beverly McCune, Garnett Edmondson, Marilyn Wright and Jackie Lohman; and a host of relatives and friends.
 
Gerk Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. There will be no services as per her request.
