Boise Idaho " Bluford Landrum, 75, 507 Seventh Street South, died Friday morning (January 24, 1964) at a local hospital. Mr. Landrum was born Sept. 27, 1885 at Glasco, Ky. He moved with his parents from Kentucky to Greeley, Colo., in 1895. He married Lillian Shannon at the Christian Church in Greeley on Jan. 26, 1910. After their marriage, the couple moved to Worland, Wyo., where he worked with a surveying crew. They moved to Canada in 1912, where they lived nine years. They moved from Canada to the Deer Flats area in 1924, where he farmed until retirement in 1944, because of poor health. They then moved to Nampa.
He is survived by his wife Lillian at home, two daughters, Mrs. Elsie May Guin, and Mrs. Evelyn Ruby Logan, both of Nampa, two sisters, Mrs. Letha Hamilton of California, and Mrs. Ruth Puett of Colorado, five grandchildren, fourteen greatgrandchildren, and a brother-in-law Roy Shannon of Nampa. A son Richard Eugene Landrum preceded him in death in 1915.
Services will be announced by Shepherd Chapel."

"OROFINO-Clarence M. Whitman, 83, former Nez Perce County commissioner, died at a hospital here at 6:15 a.m. Sunday of a heart ailment. He had been ill for seven weeks.
Mr. Whitman was born March 13, 1879, in Bureau County, Ill., and moved to a ranch near Greeley, Colo., with his parents as a boy.
He married Dena Landrum at Greeley Oct. 16, 1900, and they lived on their homestead near Greeley until 1903 when they moved to Portland. There he operated a livery stable with his brother. They later moved to Grass Valley, Ore., where he farmed.
In 1914 they moved to Letha, Idaho, and in 1917 to Peck where he purchased a lumber yard and store, which he operated for three years. They then moved to Angel Ridge, where he farmed for about five years before opening a general merchandise store at Peck.
He sold out the business in 1945 to Earl Wells and retired to Lewiston.
Mr. Whittman was active in public affairs, serving on the school board at Peck, in various capacities in the Republican party and as a Nez Perce County commissioner from 1927 to 1933. He was instrumental in the construction of the bridge over the Clearwater River at Peck and in the establishment of a four-year high school at Peck. He also campaigned for better farm-to-market roads for the county.
Mrs. Whitman died in 1924 and Mr. Whitman married Abbigail Tweedy in 1928. She died in 1938.
He was a past grand noble of the IOOF Lodge and was affiliated in his later years with Orofino Lodge 64.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Elsie Longeteig of Coeur d'Alene, Mrs. William Musselman of Lewiston Orchards and Mrs. William P. Hook of Santa Rosa, Calif.; a son, E.A. Whitman of Sprague, Wash., four step-sons, Fred and James Tweedy of Orofino; George Tweedy of Spokane and William Tweedy of Okanogan; five step-daughters, Mrs. Nate Axtell and Mrs. Arthur Leland of Okanogan, Mrs. A.E. Graham and Mrs. Perry Carter of Moscow, and Mrs. H.V. Riggs of Lewiston.

Was for Two Terms of County Court, and Prominent Citizen of Sterling

John Walter Landrum, formerly judge of the county court of Logan County and pioneer resident of Sterling, died at his home, Cleveland and Sidney avenues, shortly after noon Friday of paralysis. Judgo Landrum had suffered repeated strokes of paralysis, the last of which occurred Wednesday morning. His conditlon became rapidly worse until hope for his recovery was despaired of.
Mr. Landrum was born near Glasgow, Kentucky, September 16o, 1850. He came to Colorado in 1878 and since that time has made his home in Sterling. He was married to Miss Bettie Catherine Davis November 22, 1881. Four children, Mrs. L. P. Cheairs, Dallas Landrum, Mrs. Fred Torrey, and Miss Lorena Landrum, with Mrs. Landrum survive him.
In young manhood Mr. Landrum was united with the Southern Methodist church but when he came to Sterling united wiili the Presbyterian church. For a number of years he has been a member of the official board of the Sterling church and has lived an exemplary Christian life.
Mr. Landrum was Judge of county court of Logan county for two terms preceding Judge W. Mabry King.
Besides his wife and children, Mr. Landrum is survived by three brother, J. H. Landrum fo Boulder, T. J. Landrum of Longmont and R. P. Landrum of John Bay, Oregon, and a sister Mrs. Pattie Hargrove of Denver.
The funeral service was conducted Sunday afternoon at 2:30 at the Presbyterian church with buriul in the Sterling cemetery."

March 1890 " Before giving your readers time to find Pinneo on the map, I will state that it is twenty-one miles east of Fort Morgan on the Burlington Route, and I venture to say the road runs as many trains through Pinneo as through Fort Morgan, even if you did get the county seat of Morgan county. We have one irrigating ditch. T. J. Landrum is both superintendent and proprietor. He also constitutes the board of directors."

November 21, 1890 " News was received here on Monday iast that the year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Landrum had died that day in Denver. The child was a bright little fellow, and its parents, both so well known here, have the sympathy of the whole community. "

October 1893 Fort Morgan "Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Landrum celebrated the fifth anniversary of their marriage on Wednesday evening last, and to say that a houseful gathered to congratulate them on the event was drawing it very mild.
Sutton Anderson said that there were eleven babies present, and they greeted the couple in a harmonious and happy manner. In the way of offerings there were rocking chairs, baskets, rolling pins, mush ladles, pitch fork handle, brooms, potato mashers, besides other presents of metal.

Trego, who are among the moat highly respected residents of our county, and is a yonng man with sterling qualities of character end one of Phillips county’s most enterprising farmers and stock raisers. Tbe bride is a daughter of Mr. aod Mrs. Hargrove, highly respected citizens of Julesburg, and stands very high in the sooial circles in which she moves. She is au accomplished young lady and has been a very successful school teaoher, having taught part of the time in the oounty. The Herald extends beet visbes for a happy life."

September 20, 1923 Holyoke, Colorado "A very pretty romance that has bten kept secret for the past three weeks came to light the first of the week when it was learned that Mr. Wilmar Trego of this city and Miss Madeline Campbell, of Holly, had been married about three weeks ago. The young bride has been visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Trego in the east part of the city, while her husband has been attending to his fanning duties at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alva Trego, north of Holyoke. The young couple are well known here, both having attended tho Phillips County High School, graduating last spring. They will make their home on the Trego farm, where the groom has a very good start in the farming business.
A large number of their friends, including the band, learned of their secret Tuesday evening, and serenaded them at the Emmett Trego home, and offered their congratulations and best wishes.
May their wedded life be successful and happy is the wish of the many friends here."
