December 1898 Julesburg "Mr. Landrum of Fort Morgan is visiting his sister, Mrs. Hargrove, and holding meetings at the Anderson sohoolhouse. He is an Adventist and was formerly clerk of Morgan county."

July 1899 Julesburg "Mrs. Hargrove and daughter Elsie have gone to North River to gather fruit."

February 23, 1924 "Mrs. Pattie P. Hargrove, aged 68, died at the home of Mrs. H. Radecky at 815 First avenue, at 6 o'clock last night after an illness with complications of a dropsical nature. She had, until recently, lived in a home that had been built for her by her brother, J. H. Landrum, adjoining his home at 2205 Pennsylvania. Ihe change in residence was made to secure the services of Mrs. Radecky, who is a nurse. A son, Buford Hargrove, is expected from Ovid, Colo., and a daughter, Mrs. Dora Trego from Holyoke. T. J. Landrum of Longmont and Robert P. Landrum of John Day, Ore., are brothers of Mrs. Hargrove. A sister. Mrs. Elsie Boehme, resides at Arvada."

March 13, 1924 "Mrs. Pattie Hargrove, sister of the late John W. Landrum of Sterling, died February 22, at Boulder, Colo,, at age of 67 years. Mrs. Hargrove lived at Sterling some years ago.
Pattie P. Landrum was born near Glasgow, Barren county, Ky., May 12, 1856. At the age of 15 years she was converted, and became a member of the Methodist church. She came to what is now Merino, Logan county, Colorado, in the spring of 1876, when the country was new and somewhat wild, with an occasional Indian scare. She came with her father's family of six boys and three girls.
In June, 1877, Miss Landrum was married to Robert Hargrove at Merino, Colo., to which union were born three children: Mrs. Dora Trego of Holyoke, Colo.; Buford Hargrove, of Ovid, Colo.; and Mrs. Elsie Boehme of Arvada, Colo. Besides these three children, there are ten grsndchildren.
Mrs. Hargrove accepted the seventh day Sabbath in 1899/
Three of her brothers. T. J. Landrum, of Longmont, Colo: R. P. Landrum of John Day, Ore., and J. H. Landrum, of Boulder, Colo. are still living."

July 1899 Julesburg "Miss Ora Propsi of Merino, is the guest of her cousin, Miss Dora Hargrove, this week."

December 1900 Holyoke, Colorado " On Saturday evening of last week, Miss Dora Hargrove, Miss Florence Trego, Alva A. Trego, and Miss Lydia A. Holland united with the M. E. ohuroh of Holyoke."

October 4, 1901 Sedgwick County " Miss Dora Hargrove and Alva Trego of the south divide were married last week. The reservation people extend congratulations."

September 1901 Holyoke, Colorado "At the home of the bridegroom's father in this county on Thursday evening Sept. 25, Rev. 8. A. Parker of Holyoke officiating, Alva A. Trego of this county and Miss Dora L. Hargrove of Julesburg were married. Only a few of the friends of the families were present. After tbe marriage ceremony, the guests sat down to a nice wedding supper. The couple wero the recipients of s number of woddiog presents. The newly married oouplo are well known to the people of our county. The bridegroom ie tbe son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Trego, who are among the moat highly respected residents of our county, and is a yonng man with sterling qualities of character end one of Phillips county’s most enterprising farmers and stock raisers. Tbe bride is a daughter of Mr. aod Mrs. Hargrove, highly respected citizens of Julesburg, and stands very high in the sooial circles in which she moves. She is au accomplished young lady and has been a very successful school teaoher, having taught part of the time in the oounty. The Herald extends beet visbes for a happy life."

Holyoke, Colorado "A fine boy arrived at the home of Mr and Mrs. Alva Trego on February 22, 1913. If there is any virtue in birthdays, this boy certainly should prove a patriot."

September 20, 1923 Holyoke, Colorado "A very pretty romance that has been kept secret for the past three weeks came to light the first of the week when it was learned that Mr. Wilmar Trego of this city and Miss Madeline Campbell, of Holly, had been married about three weeks ago. The young bride has been visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Trego in the east part of the city, while her husband has been attending to his fanning duties at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alva Trego, north of Holyoke. The young couple are well known here, both having attended tho Phillips County High School, graduating last spring. They will make their home on the Trego farm, where the groom has a very good start in the farming business.
A large number of their friends, including the band, learned of their secret Tuesday evening, and serenaded them at the Emmett Trego home, and offered their congratulations and best wishes.
May their wedded life be successful and happy is the wish of the many friends here."

August 1922 Ovid, Colorado " Mr. and Mrs. Buford Hargrove and family started to their mountain ranch last Wednesday."

August 24, 1933 Arvada, Colorado " Mrs. Chas. H. Boehme of Arvada Heights spent from Wednesday until Monday at Ovid, Colorado, where she was called by the death of a brother, Buford Hargrove, a pioneer of that section and prominent as a county official for many years.
He also was a pupil in the first class of school taught at Julesburg, Colorado."

ELSIE

November 26, 1908 Denver marriage licenses "Charles H. Boehme, 1624 South Sherman avenue, and Elsie G. Hargrove."

April 9, 1914 Julesburg " Mr. Boehme, brother-in-law of Buford Hargrove, has taken up a claim on the south side of the river, and has erected a house for his family."

May 1935 Arvada " Vincent Hargrove of Ovid, Colo., spent irom Monday until Wednesday visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Boehme and family of 345 First street. He is a nephew to Mrs. Boehme."
