July 3, 1958 Stilwell, Oklahoma " Funeral services for Mrs. Nellie Thompson,
a former resident of Westville who died last week at the home of a daughter,
Mrs. Josephine Pulliam of Sterling, Colorado, were conducted from the Roberts Funeral Chapel
Sunday afternoon at 2, with Rev. Crittenden of Stilwell officiating.
Burial was in the Westville cemetery, with Luther Simmons, Elbert Sheffield, Dan Sisk, Sherman Beach,
Cecil Sisk, and Clyde Rather as pall bearers. Those in charge of the flowers vere Mrs. Anna Parker,
Mrs. Joe Summers, Mrs. Beulah Nelson, Mrs. Cora Kerns, Mrs. Clara Phillips, and Mrs. Bushyhead,
Mrs. John Allen, and Mrs. Paul Carrington sang three request songs with Miss Mary Jane Cabe
at the piano. Mrs. Thompson had lived in Westville many years prior to moving away some few years ago.
She was active in civic and church affairs while here. The only survivor is the daughter,
Mrs. Pulliam."
