" A Wedding of quiet detail took place on Monday evening at the home of the sister, Mrs. Hays, when Miss Grace Lindsey became the bride of Mr. Marvin Gallagher of Portland. The house was attractively decorated with quantities of Golden Glow. The ceremony was performed in the large living room in the presence of the family and a few of the girl friends of the bride, by Dr. A. McKinley, pastor of the First Presbyterian church. Later a wedding supper was served, the guests being seated at one large table, which was beautifully decorated with white roses. In cutting the bride's cake, Miss Chamberlain won the ring, Kit Lindsey, brother of the bride, the button, and Mrs.... the coin. The bride wore a dainty frock of white silk and mull with hand-made tucks and inserts of Valenciennes lace. She carried bride roses.."
