17 Jan 1884 in Richmond, Indiana.
February 1886 Greeley " Coroner House was called to Sterling the other day to hold an inquest on
the body of David F. Hoerner, who was found dead on the prairie about six miles west from
Sterling on Sunday morning. The news created some excitement in Sterling, as it was at first
thought that death was the result of violence."
