GOLDIE

February 1917 Denver "Four youths with a penchant for exploring unocccupied houses, and incidentally picking up small articles found therein, were arrested yesterday by Policeman White and placed in the Detention home. They gave their names as Therean Ernest, 12; William Huff, 11; Kermit Angell, 11, and Frank Lindhorn, 10. White said he had warned the boys to stay out of houses they found vacant, but they had persisted, taking away a number of small articles of little value. In order to give the youthful explorers another chance, and at the same time teach them that they must respect the law, White took the boys to the Detention home, where they will be held a few days. It was stated at the Detention home that the boys' parents would be seen and an effort made to dispose of the case without prosecution in the Juvenile court.
