JOEL'S FAMILY

Joel's mother is buried in Saint Paul, Nebraska # 40365281 "Nancy Knowles was born in Posey County, Indiana, Jan. 15th, 1845.
In 1863 she was joined in marriage to Hardin Wheeler. To them were born four children only one of whom, Mrs. John Perry of Greeley, survive the mother.
Mr. Wheeler died in 1869 and in 1871 she was again married, to James Walling. In 1885 she, with her family came to Nebraska and has been a resident of this state ever since.
Mr. Wheeler was a veteran of the Civil War, which entitled Mrs. Walling to the privileges of the Soldiers Home at Burkett (later the Grand Island Veteran's Home), where for several years she has resided, making short visits to those of her children who lived in this vicinity, and it was while so visiting with her daughter, Mrs. Milton Nunn, of this city, that she passed away on Saturday, July 9th, having reached the age of 82 years, 5 months and 24 days.
She leaves to mourn her going, seven children, 34 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in the Christensen Undertaking Parlors on Monday morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. L. W. Westphal officiating. Internment in Elmwood cemetery."

OLIVE'S FAMILY

In 1900 Grand Island, Nebraska, Olive Morgan is a servant, born February 1881 in Nebraska. She's a servant for Caroline Owens, widowed, born Oct 1845 in Missouri. Sophia Owens was born April 1886 in Missouri.

Joel died March 31, 1945, widowed, wife Allie, born in Posey County, Indiana to mother Nancy Rankin. The informant was Mae Walling of the same address, 9116 Graham Avenue.

In 1930 George 53 and Myrtle 44 are in Inglewood, California, with Arthur F. 25 and Eugene G. 7. Her mother Jennie Morgan 82 is with them.

Elizabeth Jane (Fowler) Morgan 1848-1943 is buried in Inglewood, California # 1101629, "Married to Jesse Jacob Morgan"
