December 1907 "Orrin Hillman had the misfortune last Friday to get four fingers of his right hand cut so severely that it required several stitches. "

"Died—On Saturday evening, Feb. 1st, 1908 at 6:00 o'clock, the five months old babe of Mr. and Mrs. Orrin Hillman, of whooping-cough. The little form was laid to rest in the Sterling cemetery Monday, after a short service at the Baptist church. Mr. and Mrs. Hillman have the deepest sympathy of the entire community in the loss of their first born and only child. "

February 1913 "The attendance at Orron Hillman's sale last Tuesday was not very good, and bidding not very brisk. However the live stock brought pretty fair prices."

DOSHIA

Doshia Elva Hillman, 34, married H. Herbert White on March 20, 1919 in Sterling. Doshia and Herbert are in Los Angeles in 1920, back in Padroni in 1930, and San Bernardino, California in 1940.
Doshia died Dec 25, 1957 in Los Angeles County, born January 18, 1874 in Virginia.

In 1919 Ollie Paxton was a teacher in the Iliff school district # 54.

Olive married Orrin O. Hillman May 20, 1924, recorded in Logan County.  Orin O. Hillman had married Ella Harlow Sep 5, 1906, recorded in Logan County, and he was divorced, living with his mother-in-law, in 1920 Logan County. Orrin was 37, born in Iowa

In 1930 Olive B. 48, and Orson Hillman, 47, are farming in Logan County.

In 1940 Olive is in the State Hospital in Pueblo, married.

In 1900 Lawrence County, South Dakota, Josie Straub, born June 1894, in Nebraska, is with Fred 43, Amelai 38, Della 18, Etta 13, Ida 8, Josie 6, Flossie 3, and uncle William Straub 38.

They're still in Lawrence County in 1910, and in 1920 are in Padroni, Logan County, Fred farming, 62, Amelia J. 56, and Josephhine 25.

In 1930 Josephine is in Padroni, Logan County, 35, with Fred Straub 72.
Her sister Ida is 38, born in Nebraska.

Henrietta L. Strom ws born May 5, 1887 in Rising CIty Nebraska to Fred Straub and Amelia Schultz, dying in El Pas, Texas May 25, 1964, to be buried in Evergreen Cemetery, El Paso.
