HESTER'S FAMILY
br> William A. Kimball, 32, on 17 Oct 1880 in Doniphan County, Kansas, married Laura Loper.
(Bert C. Loper proved up two quarters in section 30, 11S 44W, Kit Carson County, in 1917.)
In 1905 Doniphan County, W. A. Kimball is 58,
living with Hannah Blair 74, both born in Massachusetts..
1909 Dakota County, Nebraska "Wm. Kimball, who went to Colorado
with Alfred Austin and family, returned after only a short stay as he
did not like the country."
In 1910 Kit Carson County, William is farming, 63, widowed, living alone.

William Archer Kimball married Lura Dee Loper on 17 Oct 1880 at Severance, Doniphan,
Kansas. She died on 25 Dec 1887, a few days after the birth of their 4th
child. In addition to the three daughters, there was also a son born 14 Jan
1887 and died 24 Jan 1887 named Franklin Dunnell Kimball, named after
William's step-father. After the death of his wife, his daughters were
adopted by other families but still stayed somewhat connected.
Troy, Kansas, February 3, 1887 "An infant child of W. A. Kimball died Sunday with whooping-cough."
Hester Ann Kimball was born Feb. 1, 1885. After the death of her mother she was
adopted by John Bubb, whose family name she now bears,
Hester was in Dakota County in 1900, born in Kansas
in February 1886. She's living with John B. Bubb 50
and Lizzie E. 47.
John B. Bubb cash-claimed a quarter in section 10, 10S 50W, Kit Carson County, in 1908.
1915 Dakota County "
John Bubb (the painter) is plying his trade at the Stephen Joyce residence."
(John died in 1919, buried in Sioux City # 114528041. Elizabeth died in February 1926 )

Mrs. H. A. Austin returned the last
of the week from LeMars, Iowa, where she was called by the death
of her father, John Bubb. The remains were interred at Graceland
Cemetery in Sioux City. Mr. Austin's father had died suddenly in
Sioux City two days before."
In 1910 Kit Carson County, Henry A. Austin is 23, farming, with Hester 24.
They're farming in Dakota County in 1920, no kids.
In 1930 Dakota County, Henry is 43, Hester 45, with Joyce 3.
In 1940 Dakota County, Henry Austin is 52, Hester 55, and Joyce 13. Albert Austin is living with them, 67.
Hester is buried in Sioux City, Iowa 1885-1966, with spouse Henry Adelbert Austin 1887-1944. H
Joyce Mae Austin, 21, married Leonard Wayne Bowers on Oct 10, 1946 in Sioux City.
She's buried in Sioux City 1926-1992 with Leonard 1926-1972.
