Vanranceler Thomas was the son of Mary Jane Harness Thomas and William Thomas. He was born in Iroquois Co., IL. He married Margaret Bethiah Skelton on 22 Aug 1880 in Milford, Iroquois, IL. They were the parents of Charles, Walter, William, Flora, George, Ira, Richard, and Karl.
He's buried in Clay County, Iowa 1846-1898 # 22689661.

Charles had a business in Colorado and moved to Cody, Nebraska in 1914 to farm and raise cattle. In 1945 he moved from the farm into cody to sell farm implements. He and Frank moved to Beaver Crossing to retire; there she died. He visited with his daughters for a time; moved to El Cajon, California in January 1970. He was a member of the I.O.O.F. Lodge in Beaver Crossing.

CLARENCE BENJAMIN FAUBION, born in Bethune, Kit Carson County, Colorado, 2 December 1909; died in Chadron, Dawes County, Nebraska in January 1963, and is buried in the Martin Community cemetery (Oregon?). Hemarried in Winner, Tripp County, South Dakota 27 March 1939 DOROTHY LOIS HAIG. She was from Martin, Oregon and was born 2 June 1922.
Clarence 1909-1963, dying in Chadron Nebraska, is buried in Martin, Bennett County, South Dakota, # 14356851.

JOHN

JOHNNIE VANRANCHLER FAUBION, born Bethune, Kit Carson County,, Colorado on 2 December 1909; died in Boring, Clackamas County, Oregon 29 May 1973, and was buried Forest Lawn Cemetery, Gresham, Multnomah County, Oregon. He married 19 August 1930, LILIA MAY PERSONS, daughter of Elmer A. and Mazie Ethel (Purviance) Persons, she born 8 April 1914.
" Funeral for Johnnie Vanranchler Faubion, a machinery dealer, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Carroll Funeral Home, Gresham, with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Faubion, who lived in Boring, was born Dec. 2, 1909, in Bethune, Colo., moved to Portland in 1937, and to Boring in 1948. he died of a heart attack Tuesday. For many years he was a machinery and mechanical parts dealer in East Multnomah County, selling and repairing farm and commercial machines.
Survivors include his wife, Lilia May; two sons, Myrle L. of Madras and Elmer J. of Gresham; three sisters, Viola Legg of Mesa, Ariz., Fae Eick of Tigard and Iona Yoder of Aurora, Ore.; and six grandchildren.
He's buried in Gresham, Oregon # 98041957.

IONA MAE FAUBION, born Bethune, Kit Carson County, Colorado, 29 May 1913; first married 11 February 1931 HOBART DeFRANCE IRWIN, he born on 14 March 1910; died 12 April 1936. She married second 20 July 1944, WILLIS YODER. She and Willis had no children. Son of first marriage, 8th generation: 1) HOBART THOMAS IRWIN, born 7 February 1932; married 8 June 1952, BETTY JEAN McDANIELS, she born 23 March 1933.
Iona Mae (Faubion) Yoder 1913-1997 is buried in Marion County Oregon # 7492575, wtih Willis D. Yoder 1898=1989.

LOLA
LOLA FAYE FAUBION, born in Cody, Cherry County, Nebraska 7 May 1919; married 20 July 1939, WILBUR FRANKLIN EICK, he born 22 February 1913. Their son, 8th generation: 1) ROBERT FRANKLIN EICK, born 15 January 1942; married 1 September 1962, SONJA SAUER, she born 25 September 1942.
In 1940 Bennett County, South Dakota, "Fae L." Eick, 20, born in Nebraska, is married to Wilbur F. Eick 27, born in Nebraska. He was in Madison County Nebraska in 1935, she was in Cherry County.

Lola Fae Eick, age 82, died in Clackamas County Oregon on April 24, 2001.

VIOLA

Viola Faubian and Richard Legg, both of Multnomah County, married in Everett Washingotn on October 12, 1940.

" Legg, Viola "Vi" 92 of Tempe, Arizona, passed away on April 24, 2014. She was born in Cody Nebraska on April 29, 1921. She married Richard (Dick) Legg on October 12, 1940 in Everett, Washington. Vi managed her husband's insurance business in Arizona for many years. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Portland, OR and a member or Soroptimist International in Arizona. She was an avid card player and was always up for a game of Canasta and Pinochle. She spent most summers in Strawberry, AZ at the cabin she and her husband built. She is survived by her daughter, Virginia Legg of Prescott, AZ, her son David B. Legg of Queen Creek, Az. And she was predeceased by her son Richard (Dick) Legg Jr. She had 10 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren."
