July 4, 1908 Hugo, Colorado " Lida Lamberton left Tuesday evening for her home in St. Peter, Minnesota, after an absence of one year. The Genoa people regret to see Miss Lamberton leave, although she left saying she would return in six months."

"At high noon on Saturday, February 1, 1936 at the St. Peters Episcopal Church, San Francisco, Miss Ethel Dodd Jones was married to Mr. William Walter Carrick at a quiet cevemnnv attended only by the immediate family. Reverend John Collins officiated. The bride was gowned in white satin with a tule veil, caught by orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of gardenias and lilies of the valley. She was attended by her aunt, Miss Helen Lamberton, who wore Marina blue lace and carried a sheaf of pink roses. Mr. Harry S. White of San Anselmo was best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home ot the bride's aunt in Pierce street. Shortly afterward the bride and pronm left for a honeymoon in the Southland. Mrs. Carrirk is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Horace Jons of Moosejaw, Saskatchewan, Canada."

"Helen M. Lamberton, whose death was reported several weeks ago in the Herald, was born in St. Peter, December 24, 1887 and died in San Francisco June 19, 1945. She was the fourth child of R. W. Lamberton and Lucy Dodd Lamberton. She graduated from St. Peter High School and Mankato Teacher's college. Miss Lamberton taught in Lincoln school here and worked the Atty. Henry N. Benson law office. She went East and worked in the Income Tax Department in Washington D.C. She then left for San Francisco, Calif., where she cared for an uncle, Willis G. Dodd, until his death. San Francisco has been her home since then. Miss Lamberton was ill about six months and was taken care of by her sister, Mrs. B.H. Jones. She was talented in music and painting. She also wrote articles for the press and was a member of the Pacific Coast Women's Press Association. She was a member of Presidio Chapter No. 481 O.E. S. in San Francisco and the Traverse des Sioux Chapter of D.A.R. in St. Peter. She is survived by her sisters, Mrs. Eliza D. Jones and Mrs. Rhoda Rost of San Francisco and Mrs. Harriet Jensen of Minneapolis; brothers, A. J. Lamberton of St. Peter and C.M.M.R. Ben Lamberton, U.S.N. South Pacific. The remains were cremated after the services in San Francisco. Internment will be made in the family lot at Woodlawn cemetery in St. Peter next week. There will be no local services."
