Alva, 31, married Maggie Flora Glasgow on June 15, 1893 in Louisa County, Iowa. She was the daughter of James W. Glasgow and Jane McIntire.
In 1895, Alva H. is 31, with Maggie F. 26. They're living with James W. GlAsgow 66 and Jane G. 54.

"Maggie Glasgow-Hewitt was born April 1st, 1868,
at Promise City, Wayne county, Iowa, and departed this life
from her home in Morning Sun July 29th, 1901, being 34 years, 3 months and 14 days old.
In early life at the age of 12 years she professed her faith in Christ and united with the United Presbyterian church at Coulterville, Illinois, under the pastorate of Reverend J. H. Gibson.
She was married to Alvin H. Hewitt June 15th, 1893; she leaves behind her to mourn their loss her husband and little son Dwight; her father, mother and three brothers."
Alva, 40, married Eva Beard, 30, daughter of T. J. Beard and Agnes M. Wright on June 30, 1904 in Washington County, Iowa.

1950 Burlington, Iowa " Three great uncles of Mrs. Anita Baird of Morning Sun were
together for the first time in 56 years last month in Spokane, Wash.
The 3 men, brothers, are Charles E. Hewitt, 82, Yahima, Wash.;
Alvah H. Hewitt, 88, Spokane, and J. Theodore Hewitt, 79, Morning Sun.
Their combined ages total to an impressive 250 years. They are the survivors
of a family of 6 sons and 8 daughters born to Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Hewitt,;
pioneer residents who settled near Morning Sun in 1840, when the town comprised
by 10 buildings, and had not been together since their father's funeral in
September, 1894. All are retired from active work. Charles, graduate of the
State University of Iowa's school of engineering, was a civil engineer in the
development of the city of Yakima and surrounding country. Alvah, a carpenter like
his father, is the father of Dwight W. Hewitt, former employe of Schauenberg's garage
in Burlington. He moved west 14 years ago. Theodore is a retired farmer,
still making his home on the farm east of Morning Sun, purchased by his father in 1881,
and living in the large house his father built shortly after buying the place.
The mother of these men and Mrs. Baird's great grandmother, Mrs. Amy Hewitt,
was mentioned in the items of 25 years ago column in the Hawk-Eye Gazette
a few weeks ago, as having attended the movie The Ten Commandments.
This was her first and last movie. She was then 90 years old, and she
also went to a photographer that same day and had her picture taken.
She lived to be 94. Charles had a daughter, Ruth, a librarian in Seattle.
Alvah has 2 sons, Dwight and Col. Halbert Hewitt, stationed with the army
in Germany, and 2 daughters."

Halbert B. Hewitt, LtCol Air Force WWII and Korea, born Augut 2, 1905, died October 5, 1987, buried in Fort Logan.
Eva D. married Robert E. Schober, lived in Lincoln, Nebraska in 1955,
and died June 24, 2009 in Spokane, per one tree.
AGNES
Agnes "Heuritt" married Ernest E. Rhodes on November 26, 1936 in Spokane.
In 1940 Shoshone County, Idaho, Ernest is 34, born in Iowa, with Agnes 29 Washington.

1957 Eugene, Oregon " Mr. and Mrs. Ernest E. Rhodes of Mapleton announce the engagement of their daughter, Meredith Alice, to A2C Gary D. Noble, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Noble of Swisshome. No wedding date has been set. Both Miss Rhodes and Mr. Noble were graduated from Mapleton High School. Mr. Noble has been in the U.S. Air Force for two and a half years and will leave later this month for a 14-month-tour of duly in Germany. He now is home on furlough."

Rhodes was given Saturday in the Fellowship room of the church.
Hostesses were Mrs. Ned Griffin, Mrs. Mike Upton and
Mrs. William Basler. Miss Rhodes, who is working in Eugene,
is leaving March 22 to go to Germany where she will marry
Gary D. Noble of the United States Air Force. Mr. Noble is
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Noble of Swisshome.
Miss Rhodes is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Rhodes of Tiernan.
The bride-to-be will sail on the USS United States from New York."
1963 "James E. Rhodes of Salem, Ore., recently completed a technical training
course here for jet engine mechanics. A former student at Amity Union High School,
he is son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest E. Rhodes, Salem."

ALICE
Alice H. Oestreicher; born: 21 January 1912; died: 12 December 1998, butied in Pines Cemetery.
She married Leo Oestreicher, known for his photographs of Valley development in the 1930s and 1940s. He was known for his outrageous affinity for collecting things: wires, wood, tools, cameras.
Leo is buried in Pines Cemetery, Spokane 1902-1990 # 45820853.
