In 1880 Schyuler County, Illinois, Aden G. Mason is 44, Eliza 30, Mary 16, Cora 14, Charles 12, Mary 9, Louelva 8, POLLY A. 6, and Myrtle 1.
In 1885 Norton County, Kansas, Adin Mason is 48,
Eliya 36, Charles 17, Genary 14, Louisa 12, Annie 10, Myrtle 7, Elsie 4, and Ira 1.
Adin C. Mason 1836-1918 is buried in Norton
# 49759760, with Eliza 1850-1930 # 49759765.
Frank D. Mason cash-claimed a quarter in section 9, 8S 46W in 1891.
Anna's brother was named Frank Dale Mason, born Oct 17, 1889 in Norton, so he's too young to be the
Kit Carson land claimant, but very possibly a nephew.
William E. Mason cash-claimed a quarter in
section 1, 7S 45W, also in 1891.
Adin's brother William Edmond Mason was born about 1845 in Nashville, Tennessee.

October 7, 1921 Collbran, Colorado "Miss Carnine
was called home Sunday by the death of her grandfather
in Grand Junction. Our community extend their sympathy
to Miss Carnine in her sorrow."

In 1900 Jackson County, Kansas, A. O. Carnine is farming, born Aug 1872 in Kansas, married six years to Annie May 1875 Illinois. Shes' had three kids, all living.
Myrtle Jan 1895, Laura Nov 1869 and Everett January 1899 were all born in Kansas.

Gladys Buckley was in Woodbury County, Iowa in 1900,
born June 1896 in Luisiana, granddaughter of Samuel 65 and Jane 62 Ausman, both born in Canada. Ida McVey born May 1873 in Canada is a daughter.
Ida T. "Ansman" and William L. McVey married on Sept 25, 1895 in Woodbury County.
In 1910 Woodbury County, Samuel Ausman is 75, Jane 72, Gladys M. BUcklin 13.
Ida T. Ausman and Joseph C. Bucklin married on Novemer 15, 1900 in New Orleans.

Leora May Carmine and Floyd A. Mudge married on Dec 11, 1919 in Mesa County.
They're buried in Grand Junction, Leora 1897-1979 # 31871853, Floyd 1897-1974.
EDNA

Edna Carmine and Ronald E. Ashcroft married on August 19, 1922 in Mesa COunty.
1933 Palisade "Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Ashcroft and son,
Ted, of Los Angeles, arrived here last Thursday
for a two weeks' visit with relatives and friends.
Mrs. Ashcroft will be remembered here as Miss Carnine. "
She's buried in Whittier, California, dying in Orange County
April 19, 1969 # 117324771, mother's maiden name Maxson.
MYRTLE
Myrtle Carnine and Frances A. Powell married in Mesa County on Dec 2, 1920.
Francis A. Powell 1888-1964 is buried in
Grand Junction # 99891354, with Myrtle L. 1895-1981 3 99891317.
EVERETT
Everett O. Carnine 1899-1954 is buried in Grand Junction # 100603446.
CARL
January 1943 "Mrs. Carl Carnine entertained at a
miscellaneous shower at her home at Four Corners on
Orchard Mesa Friday afternoon.
In honor of Mrs. Dayle Payne (nee Lois Powell.)
The afternoon was spent informally,
and opening the many lovely gifts. At a late hour
Mrs. Carnine assisted by Mrs. Floyd Mudge
served refreshments to Mesdames Dayle Payne,
F. A. Powell, E. S. Cuthbirth,, J. M. Barr,
A. O. Carnine, D. A. Shriver, Lowell Carnine,
M. Whitfield. Hugh Jones and son, Lirntny Lo,
E. P. Short and Sharon and Jean Carnine. "
Carl D. Carnine 1904-1982 is buried in Palisade 3 47146244, with Marjorie A.
Marjorie A. 1908-1994 # 47146252.
LOWELL
Lowell was born Feb 2, 1909 in Flagler.
March 31, 1933 " Friends were surprised to
learn of the marriage of Miss Ariel Shriver of Collbran,
and Lowell Carnine, Friday. Mrs. Carnine is
a former resident of Clifton and both young people are
well known in this vicinity. Their friends are
wishing them a long and happy married life. "
Lowell 1909-1982 is buried in Grand Junction # 31279985, with Ariel 1911-1992.
Ariel's parents David L. Shriver 1875-1956 and Rosa M. 1872-1959 are also buried in Grand Junction.
