George A. and Sarah Riggs, 7 South 50 West
In 1860 Ray County, Missouri, Jesse Riggs is farming, 40, with Catharine 33, Reuben 13, Susan 11, Sarah 9, George A. 7, Lydia 4, and Mary seven months. All were born in Missouri.
George's father, Jesse 1822-1861 is buried in Ray County # 15461124.
(His sister Susannah Jane (Riggs) Rogers 1848-1932
is buried in Garfield County, Oklahoma # 114019301, with spouse John B. Rogers.)
In 1870 Ray County, Catherine is widowed, 43, with George A. 17 and Lydia A. 14.
On February 23, 1875, George Riggs and Sarah Baily were married at the residence of William Baily in Ray County, Missouri.
In 1880 Ray County, George 26 and Sarah 23 have Cordelia 4 and Mary J. nine months.
In 1900 Ray County, Missouri, George Riggs, born June 1854, married 25 years to Sarah November 1857, both born in Missouri. Mary September 1879 was born in Missouri, Roy July 1889 in Kansas.
Mary Riggs 1879-1900 is buried in Lawson, Ray County # 15461155.
So is BArbara Ellen Riggs 1884-1890 # 15461079.
In 1910 Kit Carson County, George is 56, married 33 years to Sarah 53, both born in Missouri. She's had four kids, two living.
George claimed a tract in section 5, 7S 50W in 1912.
In 1920 and 1930, George and Sarah are living alone in Mulberry, Clay County, Kansas.
When his brother Reuben died in February 1920, Reuben's obituary said he had one brother, George Riggs of Clifton Kansas, and two sisters unnamed.
George 1853-1938 is buried in Washington County, Kansas # 24906230.
So is Sarah Elizabeth (Bailey) Riggs 1856-1935 # 24906249.
CORDELIA
In 1900, Cordelia is married to William Fisher, with Claude 6 and George A. 13.
William is married in 1910, but no spouse, and Claude E. 16 and George A. 13 are with him.
Claude is buried in Ray County, # 111075835. "Claude Fisher, who resided in this city four years ago, and is remembered by many of our people, was found dead in a freight car at an Illinois town Wednesday.
The young man was in a car loaded with machinery and every indication bore out the theory that he was crushed to death by a lurch of the car which caused the load to shift, pinning him to the side of the car.
He was about twenty years old and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Fisher and during the family's residence here, Mr. Fisher was employed on the Milwaukee road.
The body was brought back for burial at Old Union, east of Lawson, yesterday.

WILLIAM
William Roy Riggs married Cora E. Byers on October 21, 1909 in Flagler.
In 1910 Kit Carson County, next to George, William is a farm laborer,
20 born in Kansas, married one year to Cora E. 17 Missouri.
Cora's father Lewis J. Byers is farming in Kit Carson County in 1910, 40, with Delila E. 33, both born in Missouri. James M. is 11, born in Oklahoma, Osa M 7 adn AngOzzelina 4 in Missouri, Edna E. 1 in Colorado.
Lewis proved up a half-section in 32, 6S 50W in 1913.
They moved back to Adair County, and in 1920 Louis is 50, "Lila" 43, Monroe 20, Irene 13, Elmer 10, and Walter 8.
Lewis Jacob Byers 1869-1963 is buried in
Adair County, Missouri # 58093918, with Delila E. 1875-1925 # 44554906.
William claimed two quarters in sections 7 7S 50W and 12, 7S 51W in 1914.
In 1915 Clay County, Kansas, Roy Riggs is 25, Cora 21, with Fern 3 and Waneta 2.
He registered for WWI in Flagler, born July 24, 1889 at Hadam, Kansas, farming, with a wife and two childrenn.
They had Emma Inez Riggs in Colorado on January 21, 1918, and Emma died of influenza in Adair County, Missouri on November 20, 1918.
She was to be buried in the Lipp Cemetery. The informant was L. J. Byers.
William Roy Riggs also died of influenza, on MNovember 24, 1918, born July 24, 1899 at Washington County, Kansas. He was to be buried in the Lipp Cemetery.

Inez 1918-1918 is # 181201500.
Cora's name is on the stone, with FindaGrave # 181201484.
Cora married LeRoy Cagg, and died December 1972, born March 17, 1893.
She's buried in Kansas City, Missouri # 14433459, with Leroy 1881-1967 # 14433445.
Also buried in Kansas City is Lois E. West 1921-2004, 3 92021671 - probably Cora's daughter.
Lloyd Lester Cagg 1921-1983 is buried in St. Louis # 171804427, with Virginia Irene (Auvenshine) Cagg 1926-2004.
In 1930 Greeley, Colorado, Waunita Riggs
is 17, born in Colorado, with mother Cora Cagg 36 born
in Missouri and her husband Roy Cagg.
She's also listed in 1930 Greeley with Samuel W. Norman, 29, born inIllinois.
Virgil W. Sholley 32 and Mabel 17 are within the same building, both born in Missouri, with a son Wilbur 1.
Brothers Elmer E. Byers 20 and Walter E. 18 are also with them. Wanita Riggs married Samuel Wesley Norman, 1901-1932 dying in Denver.
"Virgie Juanita" Riggs and Samuel W. Norman married on February 8, 1930, recorded in Weld County, Colorado.
"Grandma Babe met Grandad Norman, Samuel Wesley Norman, who was an outpatient being treated for TB. They were married in 1929 when Grandma was only 17, and lived in Idaho Springs. "
She might be buried in Carrollton, Texas 1912-1988, which has her last name as Riggs - the stone says Juanita Riggs Ditty.

April 30, 1931, died November 10, 2009 in Lone Tree, Texas, buried in Sanger, Texas.

Cora 47, Floyd and Loyd and Lois all 18, Loren 13. All were bornin Missouri.....
1942 Greeley "Miss Lois Cagg and George Miller were married in a quiet ceremony
solemnized in Klmball, Nebraska, recently. Mrs. Miller is the sister of Mrs. William B. Lewis
of Greeley. Powder blue was chosen by the bride for her attractive wedding frock. With it
she wore white accessories. Mrs. Miller is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Cagg
of Schell City, Missouri, and was graduated from the high school there in 1941.
She is a triplet, of which there are two boys and one girl. One brother. Lloyd, is in
the air corps and the other, Floyd, is married to a Greeley girl. Mr. and Mrs. Miller
are now at home in Cheyenne, Wyoming."
1943 Greeley Colorado "Pfc. Floyd C. Cagg is now stationed with the quartermaster corps at the Red River.
Ordnance depot in Texarkana, Texas.
He was inducted into the army In November, 1942, at Leavenworth, Kansas, at which time he was employed in
an airplane factory at Kansas City, Kansas. Prior to that he was employed by Hendrle and
Bolthoff Manufacturing and Supply company. He ...basio training at Fort Warren, Wyo.,
and was then sent to Jackson, Miss., for further training before being sent to his present station.
His wife, the former Marie Wineland of Greeley, and small son have been with him since March.
Pfc. Cagg. expects to spend a furlough starting June 29 with his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Cagg of Schell City, Missouri. Pvt. Cagg is a brother of Mrs. W. E. Lewis,
615 Twenty-first street, in Greeley."
1957 Greeley " Mr. and Mrs. Floyd C. Cagg and four children have returned to Greeley
to make their home after being away 10 years. They are temporarily residing at 409 Ninth street.
The Caggs have been living at Schell City, Mo. Mrs. Cagg is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Ellsworth of ... Eighth street.
Her husband's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Roy Cagg of Kansas City, Mo., formerly of Greeley.
The Cagg children are Lyle Dale, 10, Shelia Rae, 7, Larry Ray, 5, and Norma Jean, 3.
Cagg is working during the campaign for the Eaton factory of the Great Western Sugar company."
