One family member wrote "Nelson's father Robert Powell was one of seven brothers of my gg-grdf Simon Powell. Their parents were Isaac Powell and Anna Harris. Isaac and two of his brothers, Samuel and James, were early 1800s settlers of Noble Co, Ohio and later moved westward. Robert & Penelopy Powell had the following children: Nelson, Lydia, Matilda, Frances, Samuel, Leroy, and George btw 1840-1855.

Sarah Sheldon is in Crawford County, Wisconsin in 1860, age 14, with Zebulon 51 and Nancy Sheldon 52. Elisha is 21, and Mary 10.

with Sarah 25 in Indiana. Laura is 5, William 2, and Ellen two months, all three born in Wisconsin.

In 1900 he's an electrician in Fremont County, Colordo with three kids, and in 1910 they're in Logan County, Oklahoma.
Myrtle Davis married Adolph R. Falb on April 15, 1906 in Kit Carson County.
In 1910 Kit Carson County, Adolph is a telephone operator, 32 born in Iowa??,
with Myrtle 20 born in Colorado. Laura P. Davis 41 born in Nebraska, 49, married 22 years. has had three children, all living. Goldie Davis 16 born in Colorado is also with them.
In 1920 Flagler, Adolph is 39, born in Switzerland, an operator for the railroad, with Myrtle 29 born in Colorado.

In 1930 Flagler, Colorado, Laura P. Davis is 64, widowed, living with
daughter Goldie Bandt.
Goldie is a saleslady in a general store.
In 1940 Colorado Springs, Laura is 74, widowed, living with daughter Myrtle Falb, 50 and Adolph 59.

Charles D. Davis married Laura D. Richardson on December 25, 1901, recorded in El Paso County, Colorado.
December 26, 1901 Colorado Springs "At 4 p. m. yesterday,
the Rev. E. Evans Carrington, pastor of the M. E. church, South,
was the officiating minister at the wedding of Miss Laura D. Richardson
and Mr. Charles D. Davis, both of Seibert, Kit Carson county, Colo., in the
parlors of the Spaulding house."
The Loco Post Office was located about seventeen miles south of Seibert and was established on April 17, 1909. Charles D. Davis was the Post Master.
In 1910 Charles 39 and Laura (ANOTHER LAURA) 40 are living with his parents, and have Nancy I. 7 and William P. 6.
Laura is buried in Logan County, Oklahoma 1870-1916 # 118341632.
" Miss Laura Docia Richardson was born in Harrison County, Mo., November 26, 1870; was married to Charlie Davis in Colorado, December 25, 1901. To this union were born two children, a boy and a girl. She had been a member of the Baptist Church for 33 years, having strong faith in Jesus till the end, which came December 19, 1916, 2:20 o'clock, aged 46 years, 24 days.
She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, father and mother, 3 sisters and a brother.
Funeral services were held at the Christian Church here at 1 o'clock Thursday afternoon, conducted by Elder L. J. Anthis, and her remains laid to rest in Roselawn Cemetery.

In 1910 York County, Nebraska, Franklin is a produce wagon driver, 36,
with Edna 30. August 11 was born in Colorado, Hazel S. 8, Ethel E. 5, Elmer 3, and Walter B. ten months were born in Nebraska.
Franklin Henry Tuschhoff registered for WWI in York County,
born November 22, 1873.
In 1920 and 1920 Franklin and Edna are in Nebraska, F.H. the city clerk of Henderson, York County, in 1926.
In 1940 Edna is widowed, 59, in Kent County, Delaware, a housekeeper for the George Reed family .
Edna Mae (Powell) Tuschoff 1880-1956 is buried in Iron Mountain, Michigan # 137839017.
"Newton Tuschoph" was born November 27, 1898 at Flagler, COlorado, registering for WWII in Salisbury, Maryland, a post office worker.
ELLA
Ella Powell Garnett, daughter of Sarah and Nelson Powell was born in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, June 14th, 1870 and after a lingering illness of several months departed this life at her home in Litchfield, Friday September 26th, aged 77 years, 3 months and 12 days.
When four years of age, she with her parents moved to Nebraska, locating near Ashland in Saunders County, where she grew to womanhood.
On August 22nd, 1889 she was married to William Garnett at Wahoo, Nebraska. The following year they came to Sherman County locating on a farm northwest of Litchfield, where they lived until the year 1905 when they came to Litchfield where they have since resided with the exception of a few years spent on their farm.
There were born to them, five children: Ernest J. who preceded his mother in death in 1935, Mrs. Pearl Heapy of Litchfield, Nebraska, Mrs. Mayme Waterbury of Arcadia, Nebr., Byrel W. of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Gladys Banker of Thedford, Nebr., five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
