Cora Bell Morgan was born in October 1866 in Michigan, USA, The Daughter of George Warren Morgan and Laura Evelyn Rathbun

Cora Bell Morgan married John R. Walters on December 23, 1889.
John R. Walters passed away in 1900 in Howard City, Montcalm County
The death record says he was single, 27, dying October 6, 1899, to be buried in the Reynolds cemetery. His parents were Wm. Walters and Elizabeth Ree, both of Canada.

John R. Walters, son of John Walters and Susanna Plum both of Canada, died February 15, 1901 in Montcalm County, to be buried in the Coral Cemetery. He was the parent of six children, of whom three were living.

Charles W. Loree of Pierson, Michigan, 31, a farmer, son of John Loree and Jane Simpson, married Cora M. Angell, 19, of Winfield, Illinois, daughter of Lewis Angell and Ellen Pelky, on October 25, 1889 in Lake View, Montacalm County, Michigan.

They're farming in Decatur County, Kansas in 1900, Charles Sept 1858 in Michigan, Cora May 187 Illinois, Carl June 1890 Michigan, Frank Nov 1891 Virginia, Nina Sept 1893 Virginia, and Edna Sept 1895 Virginia.

Charles Loree, for many years an employee of this county, has been notified that he is heir to property in Kentucky and Virginia, consisting of coal, iron ore and timber lands valued at $14,000,000, of which his share is about one-tenth. The property has been in litigation for several years but has been settled through the efforts of John Loree, of Cleveland, who is also an heir."

Carrie Loree, 18, daughter of Charles Loree and Cora B. Morgan, married Asa N. Baldwin 20, a cabinetmaker, son of Norman Baldwin and Sylvia Tracy, on March 29, 1905 in Montcalm County. Both were residents of Reynolds township.

In 1910 Ionia County, Michigan, Carrie Baldwin is 23, Asa 25, with Russell 3.

NINA

Nina married George W. Corns on May 11, 1913.

In 1920 Norton County, Kansas, George W. is 27, Nina J. 26, with newborn Kenneth N..

George's father is likely Charlie Corns born about 1870 in Iowa, who married the widow of Lizzie Stamey's mother May. May's husband Abram Stamey had died in 1908 in Norton County. .

FRANK

July 1915 Beloit, Kansas "Jerry Tweed, Floyd Baird and Frank Loree returned last night from Dodge City, where they attended the motorcycle races. "Johnston could not stay in sight of some of those guys" said Tweed this morning, referring to Clarence Johnston of Beloit, who was entered in the race with an Indian machine. Otto Walker, who won the race in the remarkable time of 3 hours and 55 minutes on a Harley-Davldson, will receive about $1,500 for his ride. The first money was $800 and the amount in bonuses given by accessory and tire dealers amounts to as much more. "

Carl's WWII registration said he was born June 20, 1890 in Pierson Michigan.

He registered for WWI in Beloit, Kansas, single, farming for himself.

In 1930 Franklin County, Carl is farming, 38, with Nina A. 26, Dorothy M. 5, James P. 3, and Betty J. newborn.

In 1940 Douglas County, Kansas, Carl is farming, 49, with Nina 39, Dorothy 15, Paul 13, Betty Jean 10 born in Kansas and Evelyn 10 born in Missouri1955 "The Cecil Vinings spent Sunday with her brother Carl Loree and family at Baldwin."

(Evelyn Reeves was in Atchison County, Missouri in 1930, newborn to Howard Reeves 25 and Francis Reeves 25. Margery is 5, Maxine 4, and Jessie 2.

Nina's mother Margaret Reeves, 68, widowed, born in Iowa (lived in Nodaway County, Missouri in 1935) is with them.

Carl is buried in Franklin County, Kansas, 1890-1975 # 52698067, with Nina A. (Reeves) Loree 1902-1974 # 52698056.

Betty Jean Sinclair age 83, of Osawatomie, KS died Friday, August 09, 2013 at North Point Skilled Nursing Home in Paola, Kansas.
Betty was born on November 23, 1929 in Baldwin, Kansas the youngest child of three born to Carl H. and Nina Armenda (Reeves) Loree. She attended school in Baldwin and graduated from Baldwin City High School with the class of 1947.
While attending high school in 1945 Betty went to work as a nurse's aide at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Lawrence, Kansas. On February 26, 1948 she married her one true love William Arthur Sinclair at the Ives Chapel Church in Baldwin, Kansas.
They made their home in Baldwin while her husband William was attending college at KU in Lawrence, Kansas. In 1952 William was offered a job at Wicke Drug Store in Osawatomie, Kansas, this is when the family moved to Osawatomie.
They bought the drug store from Fred Wicke on December 14, 1961 and became the proud owners of Sinclair Drug Store in Osawatomie. Betty was a wife and mother to their six children, which in itself was a full time job. However Betty was a prominent fixture at the drug store during noon hours while the school kids had lunch and helped out whenever needed.
They sold the drugstore on July 1, 1992. Betty served as both a Girl Scout leader and Cub Scout Leader, and became a member of the Green Valley Social Club in 1989. She was also a member of the First United Methodist Church in Osawatomie. Above all she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed being with her family more than anything.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, one infant son Ryan Justin Sinclair, her sister Dorothy Mae (Loree) Seig, her brother James Paul Loree and her foster sister Evelyn Irene Reeves. She is survived by her husband William, her five children: William P. (Nancy) Sinclair of Parker, Kansas, Susan I. (Sinclair) and Denis Sumrall of Paola, Kansas, Glen A. (Ann) Sinclair of Spring Hill, Kansas, Rebecca E. (Sinclair) and Kenneth Diehm of Osawatomie, Kansas and Jill (Sinclair) and Eric Halverson of Olathe, Kansas.
Nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, as well as many step grandchildren, many who called her Mom and Grandma Betty. She loved them all.

BEATRICE ILA

Ila is in Franklin County, Kansas in 1930, 23, married to Cecil H. Vining, 22.

1955 "The Cecil Vinings spent Sunday with her brother Carl Loree and family at Baldwin."

August 1957 Ottawa, Kansas "County Commissioner Cecil Vining of Richmond, with Mrs. Vining and their daughter, Kay, returned over the weekend from a week's visit with Mrs. Vining's mother, Mrs. Cora Loree, at Sand Lake, Mich., near Grand Rapids. Vining reported that fishing was good, and that a big bass really did get away. It was the only good bite he had. he said. He did catch some smaller fish, however."

In the 1961 Ottawa, Kansas, directory, Cecil is a county commissioner, with Beatrice livin in Richmond, Kanss.

"Mary Aileen Denholm, 76, Tonganoxie, KS died Saturday, September 22, 2007 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 27, 2007, at First Congregational Church, Tonganoxie. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie. Mrs. Denholm was born November 20, 1930 near Baldwin City, KS, the daughter of Cecil and Ila (Loree) Vining. She was 1953 graduate of Kansas State University and had worked for J.C. Penny Company, Lawrence, before retiring. She was a member of First Congregational Church, V.F.W. Auxiliary and an active 4-H leader, all of Tonganoxie. On May 25, 1952 she was united in marriage to Harold T. Denholm in Richmond, KS. Survivors include her husband, Harold, of the home; son, Gregg and wife, Deb, Tonganoxie, KS; three daughters, Linda and husband, Rod Sturgeon, Tonganoxie, Carol and husband, Tim Fellows, Lake Stevens, WA and Lorie and husband, Steve Vann, Virginia Beach, VA; brother, Gene Vining, Richmond, KS; sister, Kay Daniels, Marshfield, MO; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren."

EDNA

One history said Frank, Nina, and Edna were born in Hanover County, Virginia.

In 1930 Edna is a maid for the elderly Oren and Francis Ward in Kent County, Michigan, age 34.

Edna, born October 8, 1895, died march 10, 1972 in Pasco County, Florida.

EARL

Earl R. Loree was born July 25, 1904 in Sheridan County, Kansas, and married Imogene Marion Eaves on December 15, 1928 in Goshen, Elkhart County, Indiana.



Earl is a grain buyer in 1930 Montcalm County, Michigan, 25, with Imogene 19 born in Michigan.

In 1940 Newaygo County, Earl is a laborer for the WPA, 36, Imogene M. 27, Loretta M. 8, and Faye J. 4.

Faye Joyce Loree married Theodore R. Magoon on July 5, 1952 in Paris, Kent County, Michigan.

Imogene M. Loree, born Aug 6, 1912, died in Pasco County, Florida July 7, 1979.
