June 9, 1921 Kearney, Nebraska "Miss Della Dugdale and Benjamin Smith - both living at Shelton -were married Tuesday by Rev. Hillier."

July 1, 1943 Gibbon, Nebraska "Mrs. May Dugdale, daughter of William and Sarah Alleop, was born at Beecher City, Illinois on February 23, 1866. She came to Nebraska in her girlhood and took a homestead in Chase County. There she met and married her husband, Henry James Dugdale, in 1888. As a bride she came to the farm home near Shelton, where she lived for many years.
To this union seven children were born: Ralph E. of Portland, Oregon, Lee A. of Denver, Colo., Mrs. Thelma Johnson of Omaha, and Mrs Della Smith of Shelton, all of whom survive. A son, George, and a daughter, Lilly, died in infancy. Her eldest daughter, Lulu E. Race, passed away at Shelton in 1921. In addition she leaves 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Ida White of Gibbon. Mrs. Dugdale’s husband, Henry James Dugdale, preceded her in death by twenty-one years, passing in 1922.
Many friends and neighbors join the relatives in mourning Mrs. Dugdale’s death. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Shelton M. T. Church with Dr. Tom Niven, pastor of the Omaha Baptist church, in charge. Mrs. Robert Woodward sang two hymns and was accompanied at the piano by Mrs. D. E. McGregor. Casket bearers were Will Oliver, Harry Oliver Martin Conroy, Martin Slattery, Verne Rosenthal, and Geo. Burkerd. Burial was in the Shelton cemetery."
