In 1895 Mitchell County, Kanss, J. M. Sweet is 49, Helen 39, Clark 21, Minnie 16, and Harry 4.
Harrison Leon Sweet registered for WWII in Denver working for the Ladies Relief Society. He was born May 20, 1890 at Hill City, Kanss, and nreference was Erma Scheidegger of Seibert, Colorado.

Theressa Bancroft born about 1845 in New York, died in May 1880 of consumption in Graham County, Kansa, wife of Charles Bancroft.

In 1885 Nemaha County, Kansas, Mignon Sweet is 16, Ned 13 (this must be Clark), with Isabelle 41, 41 born in Indiana. They're living with Rebeca Hook 70 bonr in Indana and Fred Hook, 26.

In 1910 Mitchell County, Kansas, Cyrus Oliver is 41, Minnie 32, Ross R. 14, Alma V 10, Marie H. 8, Mary 7, Rebba R. 5, Nina G. 4, and Marjory 2, all kids born in Kansas.

Cyrus proved up two quarters in 32, 6S 48W in 1914.

"Bertha Mae Sweet was born to Benajah C. and Ellen S. Thompson on Dec. 31, 1889 at Mankato, Ks., and departed this life January 17, 1973 in Burlington. She was united in marriage to Clark A. Sweet May 3, 1914 in Vona.
Mr. Sweet preceded his wife in death in 1933. Also, Bertha was preceded in death by a daughter Wanda Kemper,and two sons Maurice L. and Marshall C. She is survived by three sons,Melvin C.,Stratton; George R.,Fort Worth,Tx;and Kenneth W.,Denver.Also a brother Daniel Maurice,Calif;and a daughter,Ellen Edwina Kemper, Fort Worth,Tx; 19 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren.Funeral services were conducted in the Stratton Church of God Jan. 20 with Rev. Wilbert R. Nelson, Pastor, officiating. Singers were Theda Nelson and Mabel Scheierman. Organist was Marilyn Paintin. Pallbearers were LeRoy Kemper, Arthur Kemper, Earl Kemper, Tim Kemper and Robert Hargis. Honorary pallbearers were Ed Overlease, Merle Ford, Tom Burian, Lyle Garner, Dale Courtwright and Kenneth Scheierman. Burial was made in the Vona Cemetery. "
