CAPTION:
My great-uncle, George Yule, discovered the marble vein in 1874
while prospecting along the creek that bears his name. He, his
brother, William, and another man located the Bullion King mine
near Irwin, Colorado. He was the first sheriff of Gunnison
County, elected in 1879, and the only legal hanging that took
place there was on his watch, and back then the sheriff did the
job,
so he took care of it.
