1870 U.S. Census - Greenwood County (Cheyenne County)

Census Roll M593-95, Pages 307A-313A (1-12,1). Cheyenne County was part of Greenwood County in 1870. Kit Carson was the county seat of Greenwood. Most of this census was taken in the vicinity of Kit Carson town.

1880 U.S. Census - Bent County (includes Cheyenne County area)

(Census Roll T9-88 - Bent and Census Roll T9-90 - Elbert). Cheyenne County did not exist yet. The area now in Cheyenne County was included in parts of Bent and Elbert Counties in 1880.
1880 US Census images for Bent County - includes the area which is now Kiowa County.

1890 U.S. Census - Cheyenne County

This census was taken the year after Cheyenne County was created. Unfortunately, nearly the entire 1890 census was destroyed by in a 1921 fire at the National Archives. Some portions, such as the 1890 Veterans schedules survived.
