Death was due to pneumonia.
There is no additional information about Mr. Weatherstone. His birthdate is the 2nd earliest of individuals interred at Highland Cemetery, born 206 years ago.
The simple concrete cross that marks his grave is the result of a very special New Castle resident that never looks for recognition or attention for all the things he has done for many years to preserve the history and quality of the cemetery.
Mike Miller built and placed this concrete cross at this grave like he has done for many, many graves that were unmarked. He has done this at his own cost and spent thousands of hours over many years surveying, locating and placing markers without any assistance or desire to be recognized.
