The most apparent change from the 1908 photograph shot from the same vantage point is all the mature elm trees that now block the view. Main St is in the near distance marked by the Christian Church steeple on the left and the Pickett building just above and left of the Courthouse. Several new houses have been built along Cedar St between us and the Courthouse where empty lots were in 1908.
