September 23, 1898 "Sheriff Tuttle moved his family into the P. H. Shea property the first of the week."

Panina Pesch was in Shelby County, Illinois in 1880, age 6, with parents John Pesch 31 and Mary L. 32. Clinton A. is 5, Susan S. 3, and Mary T. 2.

Nina, age 23, married Pat H. Shea in Yuma County on May 5, 1897.

Born—To Mr. and Mrs. P. H. Shea of Narka, Kan., April 30, 1899, a 12-pound baby girl. Mother and baby doing nicely and Pat is out of danger."

In 1900 Washington County, Kansas, Patrick born March 1855 in Indiana, with Nina July 1873 Illinois have been married three years. Twho born to her, one living.
Catherine August 1816 in Ireland is with them. So is Stephen Shea, farming, nephew, Dec 1873 Iowa, and Nina's sister Mary Pesch born November 1878 in Illinois. John Flynn April 1843 in Indiana is with them, a day laborer.

July 27, 1900 Yuma "Mrs. John Pesch, who has been visiting her daughter, Mrs. P. H. Shea of Narka, Kan., during the past two weeks, returned home Thursday."

November 1, 1901 "Born-To Mr. and Mrs. P. H. Shea of Narka, Kan., a fourteen-pound baby girl. Pat says he is the happiest man on earth and Nina says Pat's smiles makes her happy."

Mrs. Mary L. Pesch, mother of Mrs. L. A. Mustain [Alice] and Mrs. J. R. Deering [Mary Teresa "Molly"], died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. W. L. Stevenson, at Fort Morgan last Thursday at the age of 85 years. the remains were brought to Yuma and funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church, Rev. S. D. Goodale officiating, and interment was at the Yuma cemetery.
Mary Luhetty Strain was born February 8, 1848 at Bethany, Illinois and died June 9, 1933 at Fort Morgan, Colorado. She was married October 17, 1872 to John P. Pesch, who preceded her in death in the winter of 1908. To this union were born seven children, namely Mrs. P. H. Shea, of Fairbury, Nebraska, C. A. Pesch and Mrs. F. G. Lett of Denver, Mrs. J. R. Deering and Mrs. L. A. Mustain of Yuma, Mrs. Walter Stevenson of Fort Morgan, and Mrs. Henry Stevenson of Wray.
Mr. and Mrs. Pesch went to Nebraska as pioneers in 1881, settling near Holdredge. Eight years later they came to Eastern Colorado, where they made their permanent home.
Mary Pesch was affiliated with the Methodist church of which she was a devoted member.
Besides her seven children, she leaves to mourn her death a brother, William Strain of Kingman, Kansas; twenty-eight grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. All of her children and most of her grandchildren were were present at the funeral, six grandson acting as pallbearers.

December 4, 1908 "Mrs. P. H. Shea of Diller, Nebraska, arrived Wednesday to attend the funeral of her father, John Pesch."

In 1910 Jefferson County, Nebraska, Patrick is farming, 55, born in Indiana, married 13 years to Nina 38 Illinois. Frances is 11, born in Nebraska, Mary E. 8 in Kansas, and Dorothy M. 3 in Nebraska.

August 26, 1927 Lincoln, Nebraska "Mr. and Mrs. P. H. Shea of Fairbury announce the marriage of their daughter Miss Frances Ellen J Shea, to John McCourt. The ceremony took place Wednesday morning August 24, at 8 o'clock at St. Michael's church in Fairbury. Following a short honeymoon trip Mr. McCourt and his bride will reside in Fairbury."

1962 Beatrice, Nebraska "Mr. and Mrs. P. H. Shea and Margaret Ann, Ray, Colo., were overnight guests Thursday of his sister, Mrs. C. P. Klein, and Mr. Klein."
