Yuma County Pioneers:

Lorimer Family

We are not sure that this is from the Yuma county School.  The family moved to Meeker for a couple of years and so it could be that school.  The boy with the X on his shirt is Maurice Lorimer he was born 18 July 1911 and his brother Wilbur was born Sept 12, 1912.  The boys were both born in Benkleman, NE. The next child was Hazel Grace and she was born 3 March 1915 in Colorado probably Yuma county.  They moved to Meeker about 1923 for about 2 years.  Last child was born back in Yuma County.  The girl on the far left is likely Hazel.
