In 1920 Zora F. Harding is 22, born in Iowa, a student nurse in a Colorado Springs hospital.
April 5, 1928 "Mr. and Mrs. Harding enjoyed a visit with their daughter, Miss Zora Harding, who had been at teh Haxtun hospital until recently."
April 19, 1928 "Miss Zora Harding and Fae Boyd called at the Dock Ford and mother's home to listen to the radio progarm by Yuma station on Sunday. Harold Peterson and Miss Winifred Peterson of Ford were on the program."

Zorah Fae Harding married Edgar Lowell Jones July 17, 1930, recorded in Logan County, Colorado.

Edgar registered for WWI in Haxtun, Colorado, farming, born October 12, 1892, born in Marilla, Iowa.

He was divorced in 1930 Phillips County, Colorado, living with parents George Sr. 66 and Jennie 62 and brother Paul 25. He's an electrician at the light plant.

Edgar Jones and Dorothy Jones divorced in Phillips County in 1928.

October 16, 1930 "Mrs. Ed Jones, of Haxtun, formerly Miss Zora Harding, was calling in this vicinity this week."

In 1940 Edgar is still running the light plant in Haxtun, and Zorah is a registered nurse there.

February 12, 1941 "so that all available graduate nurses may be called upon for service if an emergency arises, Mrs. Edgar L. Jones of Haxtun has been assigned to obtain the names of all graduate nurses in Phillips County."

Edgar registered for WWII in Haxtun, the superintendent of the light plant, born October 12, 1892 in Manilla, Iowa, reference Mrs. Zorah Jones.

January 12, 1961 Pleasant Valley items "Several from this community attended the funeral services for Ed Jones at Haxturn Friday morning. Mr. Jones was a brothe-i-law of the Robert Hardings."

Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Glen Cowan of Delta, Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Harding and Family, and Robert Harding, Zorah Jones, Gladys and Manuel Cowan, Mr. and Mrs. Joe WSoodside and Kay Hinde."

John Ralph Harding married Eula Lee Triplett, age 17, in Montgomery County Iowa on February 24, 1915. Her parents wee George E. Triplett and Lilie May Hansaser.

He registered for WWI in Pottawattamie County, Iowa, born April 21, 1893 at Grove, Iowa, farming. He was born at Macedonia, Iowa.

In 1920 they're in Fort Morgan, Colorado, John is an auctioneer, 26, Eula L. 22, and Glen M. 3, all born in Iowa.
September 15, 1927 Wages items "John Harding and family were visiting at the home of the gentleman's parents Sunday."

January 1933 "Rev. Harding delivered a very fine sermon at the Buffalo Grass schoolhouse Sunday evening."



February 2, 1933 - Wages items in the Yuma Pioneer "Reverend Harding and son Roy returned Monday from DeNova, Colorado, where Rev Harding had been holding revival meetings."

March 16, 1933 "Several attended church at the Buffalo Grass schoolhouse Sunday night. A fine sermon on 'Influence' was deliveered by Rev. Harding."

March 30, 1933 "A young people's meeting has been organized at the Nazarene church and Sunday night officers were appointed by Reverend Harding, as follows: Melvin Hathaway, president, and Alvin Dohnor, vice president. Church is held after the meeting." Everyone is cordially invited to attend. Meeting starts at 7:30 p.m."

LEWIS
Lewis C. Harding was born January 26, 1889 at Burlington, Colorado and died at the family home south of Haxtun May 27, 1925, at the age of 36 years, 4 months and one day.
At the age of 13 years he moved with his family to Iowa where he made his home until the year 1918, when he returned to Colorado. He was married in Iowa in 1916 to Gladys Renekie. There were born to this union two children, one a boy now five years old and a girl now seven. The mother died in December 1922. Last July he was married to Mrs. Mina Ford, since which time they had made their home on the farm south of Haxtun.
He united with the Methodist church in Iowa when he was 18 years old. After coming to Colorado the family united with the Methodist church at Fort Morgan where he still retained his membership.
He is survived by his wife and their two children, his father and mother, two brothers, and five sisters. The brothers are J.R. Harding and Robert Harding. The sisters are Fannie Bailey of Paoli, Zora F. Harding, Rose F. Triplett of Henderson, Iowa, Blanche Tryans of Lyons, Nebraska and Gladys Harding of Fort Morgan.

One descendant wrote "Cleve is buried next to his (and J.R.'s) mother - Adeline McGee Harding, who passed away the 8th of August, 1931."

ROSA

John Simon Triplett was born near Fullerton, Nebreska, on March 9,1893 and died at his home near Henderson, Iowa on June 19,1932. When he was eighteen months old his parents returned with him to Iowa and he lived near Hendrson the remainder of his life.

He was married Dec. 31,1914 to Rose Harding of Macedonia. To this union wre born four children: Doris, Norris, George, and Marylin, who with the wife survive him. He is also survive by two sisters, Mrs. Velma Henderson of Santa Ana,Calif., and Mrs. Earl Davis of Fort Morgan, Colo.

John was a well known citizen and farmer living four miles east and three-fourth miles north of Henderson on the Old Triplett farm, met a tragic death last Sunday afternoon.

It seemed that the heavy rain had washed under the roadway leading from his feed lots leaving a crust of earth like a natural bridge covering a chasm some twelve feet deep. One of his hogs in crossing this slipped off into the cavity and was badly injured. He and his wife had gone out and rescued the pig and Mr. Triplett said he thought he would just dig out that bridge and prevent any more accidents. He went for his spade and Mrs. Triplett returned to the house.

Later she called him and receiving no reply went to look for him and found him at the bottom of the pit with a great quanity of earth on top of him and entirely covering him with the exception of one foot and one hand. This was about 11 o'clock. She hurriedly called help and they extricated him, but he had evidently been dead for some time - probably smothered by the earth.

From all appearances he had started to dig and the bank had suddenly caved precipitating him to the bottom where he struck on his back and an avalanche of earth fell on top of him. It was certainly a most tragic death and a terrible shock to the family and the many friends of Mr. Triplett.

Funeral services were held in the Christian church in Henderson, Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 and burial in the Farm Creek Cemetery. John S. Triplett was thirty-nine years of age and had spent practically his entire life in the vicinity of Henderson where he was respected and honored by all who knew him. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Triplett now of Fort Morgan,Colo., and a nephew of L.W. Triplett of Henderson. He was a good citizen, a regular attendant of the Christian Church in Henderson and an active participant in every movement for the good of his community.


In 1940, Doris Triplett is teaching school, 21 Rosa 48 no occupation, Norris 17, George 15, and Marilyn 12.
Rosa F. Harding Triplett was born Feb. 10, 1892, in Pottawattamie county, near Henderson, to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Harding. She married John S. Triplett in Pottawattamie county in 1914, and had moved to Red Oak from rural Henderson in 1945.
Mrs. Triplett was a home maker. She was a member of the Red Oak First Christian Church.
Survivors include two sons, Norris Triplett of Red Oak and George Triplett of Mahomet, Illionis; two daughters, Marilyn Viner of Emerson and Doris Reid of Roggen, Colo.; eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; brother, Robert Harding of Paxton,Colo.; sister Gladys Cowen of Paxton,Colo.
Services for Rosa F. Harding Triplett, 95, Red Oak, will be at 2 p.m. today at the Nelson-Boylan Funeral Chapel here with the Rev. William Pritchard officiating. Burial will be in the Farm Creek Cemetery, Henderson, Iowa.

GLADYS

In 1930 Glenn H. 28 and Gladys A. 28 Cowen, son Manuel H. 1 are living wtih parents R.J. in Yuma County.

Glenn is in the Colorado state hospital in 1940. It said he was in Morgan County Colorado in 1935.


October 1964 Mrs. Robert Harding entertained the Harding family Sunday in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Cowen of Sterling, newlyweds. Mr. Cowen is a nephew of Robert Harding.

ROBERT

Robert is married to Mary R. Harding (Josh) in 1930 Yuma County, with Katherine 2 and Robjer J. eight months.

In 1940 Yuma County Robert and Mary have Katherine 12, Robert J. 10, Harold P. 9, Caroll C. 7, Donald L. 6, Mary E. 4, and Joyce D. seven months.
They're buried in Pleasant Valley, Robert 1906-1996 # 35478158 and Mary 1908-1978 # 35478158.

Katherine M. (Harding) Hinde, 83, of Haxtun, died July 9, 2011, in Haxtun. Funeral services were held July 13 at Berean Bible Church in Haxtun. Interment was at Haxtun Cemetery.

Mrs. Hinde was born Oct. 2, 1927, in Paoli to Robert T. and Mary R. (Josh) Harding. She graduated from Haxtun High School.

She married Marlin E. Hinde Sr.
She was part-owner of Country Kitchen for 7 1/2 year and a school cafeteria manager in California for 18 year. She also worked in home health care.

Mrs. Hinde was a member of Buffalo Grass Church of the Nazarene and Haxtun Women's Club Auxiliary.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon K. Woodside and husband Joe F. Woodside of Haxtun; son, Robert Hinde and wife Zinnia of Scotts Valley, Calif.; 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlin E. Hinde Sr.; sons, Marlin E. Hinde II and Randy Hinde; great-grandchild, Jakavos Flippin; brother, Donny Harding; sister, Evelyn Forbes; and brother-in-law, Lyle Hinde.

Randy Hinde, age 18, drowned near Sacramento California in July 1972.
In 1976 Katherine Hinde and grand-daughters Allesa and Joyce Stoner, were visiting with Robert Hardings for two weeks.

In August 1953, Harold Harding and Laura Rine married in Otis at the home of the bride's parents. Evelyn Harding, sister of the groom, was bridesmaid. Harold attended high school in Haxtun and was employed at the Ray Seedorf ranch near Yuma."

Harold Paul Harding 1930-2015 is buried in Akron, per # 155093664.


1974 "Mr. and Mrs. Robert Harding flew to California Thursday to be with their daughter Mrs. Joyce Stoner who has had surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Harding took them to Denver."

1957 "Mr. and Mrs. Robert Harding and family visited their daughter, Mrs. Delbert Forbes Thursday, who is a patient in St. Benedict's hospital in Sterling wehe she is recoverin gfrom rhe\umatic fever."
