Jan 1885, all born in Missouri. Daughter Jennie March 1873 Missouri is married to Dudley Mack, and they have two sons.
Amos Crippen Stedman 1836-1918 and Celia Elizabeth LeCompte Stedman 1842-1914 are buried in Newton County # 37262512.

Nottingham Place, Grand Prairie, TX 75050) placed a query in December
about her great-grandparents, Ira Allen and Mary Ann (FOGARTY) STEADMAN
who were residents of Newton County, MO. Ira had a brother, Amos
STEADMAN, who also lived in Newton County. Ira Allen STEADMAN is
listed on the 1880 census of Newton County. Mrs. O'GORMAN believes that
he had a brother named Amos who also lived in Newton County. The 1947
obituary for her grandfather, John B. BAILEY, lists Amos STEADMAN and
mentions his two sons, Brose and Kirk. Are any of our Rootbound
