Gregory Giles Bartscht, a grain dealer, born July 13, 1864 in Shelby County Illinois, died November 4, 1917 in Normal, Illinois. Father was Chas. W. Barscht of Germany, mother Mary Giles of Ohio. He and Mary E. (Hubbart) Bartscht are buried in Ellsworth, McLean County, Illinois. # 899767140.

1944 Elizabeth Bartscht died at the Deacons hospital in Freeport Monday after an illness of several months. Funeral service will be held at the Methodist church with burial in Daw on cemetery. Warren Gregory Bartscht, 85, Allen, Texas, formerly of Ellsworth, died Aug. 3, 2011, in Dallas, Texas. Service: 2 p.m. Sunday, memorial service at Warren Ellsworth Bartscht United Methodist Church, Ellsworth, with the Rev. Janice Ringenberg officiating. Inurnment: Dawson Cemetery, Ellsworth. Survivors: his daughter, Kelly Bartscht; one grandson; and a sister, Margaret Kirby. |
