In 1900 Otoe County, Nebraska, William A. Rawson is
51, Lillie Jane 39, Mary A. 19, John S. and Charles S. both 17, Edward E. 11, and Alice M. 3.
In 1910 Otoe County, William Rawson is 60, born in England, with Alice 12 and Edward 21, both born in Nebraska.
August 1916 "Ed Rawson and family left Tuesday for a
visit with relatives at Lincoln, Nebraska City, and Hamburg, Iowa."
Edward E. Rawson proved up two quarters in section 35,
2N 46W, and section 2, 1N 46W, a mile south of Eckley, in 1917.
In 1920 Yuma County, Edward is 31, Winnie E. 28, William G. 6, Edna J. 5, Edith M. 2,
and newborn Edward E.
In 1930 Yuma County, Ed and Winnie have the four kids.
Edward Rawson died in his home at Yuma, Colo., Saturday, November 25, 1961, as the result of heart trouble. He had been in failing health for some time.
Born in 1888 at Barney, near Peru, Mr. Rawson was a son of William and Sarah (Campbell) Rawson. He lived at Peru until his homestead was purchased at Eckley, Colo. His work was farming.
He married Winifred Algood of Peru. Four children were born to them. They moved to Yuma about three years ago.
Mr. Rawson was affiliated with the Presbyterian church of Yuma at the time of his death.
Surviving Mr. Rawson are his wife: two daughters, Mrs. Ed (Edith) Stihlan of Yuma, Colo., and Mrs. Louis (Edna) Foster of Montrose, Colo.; and two sons, William Rawson of Yuma, Colo., and Earl Rawson of Denver, Colo
The funeral was held in the Presbyterian church in Yuma. Officiating were Rev. Robert Tull and Rev. Robert Bill of Yuma. Burial was in the Yuma cemetery.

"Services were held at the Yuma Presbyterian Church
on September 9 for Winnie Ellen Rawson,
who died on Thursday, September 7, at the age of 86 years.
Interment was in the Yuma Cemetery.
Winnie was born April 3, 1892, at Oskaloosa, Iowa,
to George and Hannah Hartsock Allgood. She was one of six children. At the age of four she moved with her family to Peru, Nebraska, where she grew to womanhood and received her education. She was married to Edward Earl Rawson on March 10, 1913, at Nebraska City, Nebraska, and came to Yuma County where they homesteaded near Eckley. She lived there until moving to Yuma in 1959. She took and active part in the growth of the Eckley community and served and the church board for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and all her brothers and sisters. She leaves to mourn her, her children, William G. Rawson and Edward E. Rawson of Denver, Edna J. Foster of Orchard, and Edith M. Stillahn of Yuma; ten grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren; three great-great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends. "
Violet Fay (Sanderson) Rawson 1940-2001 is buried in Wray, with Melvin E. Rawson 1940-2002.
November 1928 Steamboat Springs "Edward Rawson
has taken charge of the J. F. White ranch near Hayden."
June 1942 Eckley "Mrs. Ed Rawson entertained the Ladies Aid
at her home last Friday afternoon. About 30 ladies
were present. Rev. Lathan who led tbe devotions
had Miss Betty Sutter read several scriptures.
Mrs. Van Meter and Miss Sutter sang a duet
which was much enjoyed. Following the business meeting.
Mrs. Rawson assisted by her daughters. Mrs. Louis Foster and Miss Edith Rawson served ice cream and cookies."
February 1945 " Glen Farrow, who formerly lived east of town on the place now occupiedby Glen Rawson, stopped here a few days the latter part of the week to visit Ed Rawson and family and other friends. Mr. Farrow, who was recently discharged from the army on medical grounds, plans to make his home in Brown county, Nebraska."
October 1945 "Mrs. Ed Rawson was a passenger to Omaha and Nebraska City, Nebr., Wednesday night where she will visit her sister in Omaha ancf other relatives in the two cities for a week or more. "
February 1947 "Mr. and Mrs. Ed Rawson had as Sunday dinner guests their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Stillman of Schramm. "
December 1947 "Mr. and Mrs. Ed Stillahn at Schramm entertained at a belated Thanksgiving dinner Sunday. The following guests enjoyed a lovely duck dinner with all the trimmings, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Foster and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Rawson and Mrs. Jessie Underdown of Eckley and Mr. and Mrs. John Davis and family and Mrs. Bessie Hannaford of Yuma."
October 1948 "Mr. and Mrs. Earl Rawson and family of Sterling spent the week end here with Earl’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Rawson and other relatives in the vicinity. "
January 1949 "Mr. and Mrs. Ed Rawson were among numerous guests at a family dinner at the Myron Newton home in Wray Sunday."
March 1949 "Mrs. Ed Rawson received word last week that
the remains of her nephew Stacy Applegate would be returned
to the home in Auburn, Nebraska, March 9th and burial on
March 12th. The soldier lost his life in action five
years ago in Italy. Mrs. Rawson left by train Monday night for the services."
May 1951 "Mr. and Mrs. Ed Rawson are enjoying an extended visit from their grandchildren, Davis and Sandra Rawson of Sterling. "
March 1953, Ed Rawson of Eckley was admitted to the Wray hospital.
October 1953 "Ed Rawson drove to the clinic at Savannah, Mo., Saturday, returning Sunday except for Mrs. Rawson who remained longer. "
April 1954 "Mrs. Edna Foster entertained at a birthday party Sunday afternoon honoring her mother, Mrs. Ed Rawson, on her birthday. Guests were Mrs. Rawson’s Sunday school class and from Wray, Mrs. Emma Brandon, Mrs. Roy Foster and Mrs. W. S. Ickler. "

Alice Mae (Rawson) Atkinson is also buried in Yuma, 1935-2013
"Alice Mae (Rawson) Atkinson was born on November 19, 1935 to William and Ester (Newton) Rawson in Wray, Colorado. She passed at the Collier Hospice Center in Wheatridge, Colorado on December 17, 2013, at the age of 78, after losing her battle to cancer. Alice attended school graduating from Yuma High School with the class of 1954. After graduation she married Carl Junior Atkinson in Wray, Colorado, to this union a daughter, Kathy, and a son, Kerry, were born. Alice and Carl were just recently blessed with 60 years of marriage together on November 28, 2013.
Alice was a stay at home mother and wife. Alice loved to travel and spend time with her family. She believed that family always came first.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ester Rawson.
She is survived by her husband, Carl J. Atkinson of Denver, Colorado; daughter Kathy Brophy and husband, Bruce of Broomfield, Colorado; son, Kerry L. Atkinson and wife, Jamiee of Arvada, Colorado; five grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; brother, Orval D. Rawson and wife, Cathy of Yuma, Colorado; Dennie L. Rawson and wife, Dee of Colorado Springs, Colorado along with numerous other relatives and friends.
The funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Baucke Funeral Chapel in Yuma, Colorado with Pastor Dave McQuisten officiating. "
