Claude and Sarah Ruth (Goodwin) Goodloe,

Claude, per one tree, was born August 10, 1881 in Andrew County Missouri.
In 1900 Andrew County, Missouri, Robert "Goodlow" born Feb 1849, married 19 years to Catherin Jan 1858, have Charles O. Jan 1883, Florence A. Feb 1888, Aurther W. March 1890, Mathias E. Jan 1894, Bruce B. Dec 1895, and Naoma J. Sept 1897. all born in Missouri, farming.

Claude married Sarah Goodwin in Pierce County, Washington, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David Goodwin, April 24, 1904.
Claude's parents are in Washington County in 1910, Robert 62, Huldah C. 52, Arthur W. 20, Matthias I. 16, Bruce B. 14, and Lennie M. 9.
1915 "Robert Goodloe purchased a new Ford car in Denver last week."

In 1910 Ashland precinct, Washington County, Colorado, Claude is 28, Missouri, Sarah R. 24 Michigan, with David R. 4 Washington, Irl M. twenty-one months, Colorado, and Norma A. two months, both born in Colorado.
1914 "Mr. and Mrs. Matt Goodloe, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Goodloe, .... were among those from Henry who attended the ice cream party at the Macoy home last Saturday night."
1916 Washington County "Mrs. Walker, of Missouri, is visiting Mr. and Mrs. Claude Goodloe."
1916 "Mrs. Claude Goodloe and brother and sister attended the Class Play in town last Thursday night."
1916 "Those attending Frontier Days at Cheyenne were Mr. and Mrs. Claud Goodloe,... Matt and Bruce Goodloe.... They went in their automobiles.
1917 "Goodloe Brothers are breaking sod with their tractor, on the land recently purchased of their aunt, Mrs. Mary Cox."

So Mrs. Cox might be a sister of Robert or Huldah....

1921 "Norma Goodloe returned to her home here after spending several months in Denver, Wheatridge, rather, where she attended school and visited her grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Goodloe, former residents of these parts."
1921 "Claude Goodloe, who is looking after an oil station in Yuma for James Forsythe of Denver, was an over Sunday visitor at the family home."
1922 "Irl Goodloe, of Yuma, is assisting John Boyce in the harvest field."
Hulda is widowed in 1930 Washington County, living with daughter Lennie M. Alishouse and her husband John H. both 29, and their Virginia M. 8 and Walter R. 1.
In 1930 Yuma, living on south Buffalo Street, Claude and Ruth are alone. He's a salesman for oil and merchandise.
In 1937 Denver, Claude C. a salesman (Ruth S.) live at 269 S Newton.
Claude and Ruth are in Denver in 1940, with his mother Hulda C. 82, born in Missouri.
Claude died in 1952

FLORENCE
In 1910 Akron, James N. Downing is 32, born in Missouri, a chauffer for an automobile company. Florence is 23, born in Missouri, and they have Doyle, newborn.
On the same page is Arthur M. Furgason, 32, married five years to Elsie, 25, with Charles M. 57 and Anna (second marriage) of 23 years to Anna 40.
In 1920 James and Florence are farming in Jefferson County, Colorado, with Doyle 9, Mildred 8, Leona 6, Virgil 3, and Mary 1.

In 1930 Jefferson County, James is a gold miner, with Doyle I. 20, Leona L. 16, Virgil T. 13, Mary C. 11, Robert F. 9, and Maxine L. 6.
Doyle Isaac Downing married Madeline M. Hirach June 13, 1937, recorded in Denver.
Virgil T. Downing married Mary DeSalvo August 26, 1939, recorded in Jefferson County.

In 1940 Jefferson County, James and Florence have only Robert 19, and Maxine 16.

ARTHUR
Arthur W. Goodloe married Orie Anna Furgason August 16, 1911, recorded in Washington Coounty, Colorado.
Arthur William Goodloe of Dillingham, Colorado, registered with a wife and two children, born March 19, 1890 at Savannah, MIssouri.
Arthur registered for WWII in Wilder, Idaho.
Arthur 1890-1980 # 14246993 and Orrie A. 1888-1959 are buried in Wilder.

Graveside services for Myrla V. Olsen, 80, of Wilder, who died Wednesday, February 3, 1993, at her home of natural causes, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, 1993, at the Wilder Cemetery, Wilder, Idaho. Reverend Dan St. Clair of Homedale will officiate under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Homedale. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. Mrs. Olsen was born August 21, 1912, at Akron, Colorado, a daughter of Arthur W. and Orrie Furgason Goodloe. She was reared and educated in Colorado. She married Dick Olsen on February 14, 1947, at Reno, Nevada; and the couple moved to Idaho where they have since resided. Myrla had worked for Vanderford's Cash Market and the J.R. Simplot Company before her retirement. She was a member of the Homedale Senior Citizens and the Central Cove Ladies Club. She had been a precinct registrar for many years. Myrla enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers and plants. Survivors include her husband, Dick of Wilder; a brother, Norval Goodloe of Homedale; two sisters-in-law, Beverly Goodloe of Denio, Nevada, and Dorothy Goodloe of Grangeville, Idaho; three nieces and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. The family suggests that memorials be given to Homedale Senior Citizens or to West Valley Medical Center Hospice Program. Friends may call today from 3 until 8 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Homedale.


LENNIE
Lennie May Goodloe Alishouse 1900-2000 is buried in Akron # 70093550 - spouse John Harold Alishouse 1900-1971.

Virginia May Alishouse Foutz, 89, passed away on January 19, 2012 at the Hospice of Northern Colorado. Virginia was born on April 12, 1922 in Wheatridge, Colorado to John and Lennie Goodloe Alishouse. They returned to the Goodloe homestead 23 miles south of Akron in 1924. Attending Sunshine elementary school, Virginia rode her horse with her younger brother, Walter every day for the following eight years . Because of the distance from town, in order to attend high school, Virginia had to board with various families in Akron. She graduated from Akron High in 1940. After graduation Virginia was courted by her future husband Eldred E. Foutz , who was working on her father's ranch. They were married March 15, 1941. Eldred began teaching in a country school near Akron but WWII interfered with their plans. Virginia got an emergency certificate and finished teaching that school year. After the war Virginia and Eldred began farming south of Akron and continued to do so until 1969. They then operated and later purchased Akron Propane Service. Virginia was bookkeeper for this business and for the Akron Federal Credit Union until retirement in 1980. They spent the next 12 years traveling abroad and throughout the country in their motor home. Virginia was active in the Akron Methodist church and all of the various organizations her family pulled her into. She was a homemaker, organizer, teacher, confidant and friend to all she knew. Eldred passed away in 1998. Virginia remained at the family home until 2006, at which time she moved in with daughter Marcia and son-in-law Wes on their ranch north of Fort Morgan. She remained there where she enjoyed being outrageously spoiled until her death. Virginia is survived by her daughters Anita Weir-Ball and Marcia Johnson and their husbands James Ball and Wes Johnson; sister Sarah Alishouse Colson, brothers Walther Alishouse and Marvin Alishouse; grandchildren Lori Weir, Leigh Meyering, Tony and Ryan Mercer, John and Vern Johnson and Jay Waldron and 14 great grand children. A funeral service was held Monday, January 23, 2012 at Brenner Funeral Home. Interment followed at Akron Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Hospitality House at the Northern Colorado Medical Center or to Hospice of Northern Colorado

Cecil Goodloe and Velma Pauline Goodloe divorced in Kit Carson County in 1937.
In 1937 Denver, Cecil L. (Viola) is a driver, and they live at 2504 Champa.
Cecil L. Goodloe married Vola Holmes January 16, 1938, recorded in Arapahoe County.

DAVID
David R. Goodloe married Blanche L. Haislett March 2, 1926, recorded in Logan County, Colorado.
David R. and Blanche Goodloe divorced in Denver in 1935.
D.R. Goodloe and Thelma Campbell married Oct 5, 1936, recorded in Arapahoe County.
In 1937 Denver, David R. (Thelma M. ) is a driver, and they live at the rear of 269 S. Newton (Claude's address).
In 1940 Denver, David is a truck driver, 35, Thelma a seamstress 28, Shirley Mae 10, Robert Dean 6, and Barbara 4 Barbara is also on the 1940 census, age 4, living with uncle Cecil Goodloe.


Joyce P. Goodloe, 79, was born on March 31, 1934; and passed away August 31, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Goodloe; daughter, Pamela J. Horan; brothers, Donnie, Rudy and Frank Strong. Joyce is survived by her children, David R. Goodloe, Cynthia L. Navarrete, Gina D. Gibbons, Kristina L. Goodloe, Raymond D. Goodloe; ten grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; her sisters, Laura Karr, Sally Browning; her sisters-in-law, Betty Strong; Cheryl Thompson and DeeDee Strong; and numerous other relatives and dear friends. Joyce worked at the Gates Rubber Company in Denver for many years. She loved having a house full of kids, no matter who they belonged to. She loved her crafts, crocheting and especially the great outdoors. She had a phenomenal green thumb in which she used to create many beautiful landscapes in her works of art, as well as the many, many plants she revived that went on to grow and grow and grow! She loved long drives in the mountains, traveling of most kind, and watching the awesome sunrises and sunsets that God creates each day. She always loved everyone, and anyone could talk to her about anything at any time. She left a lasting impression on all the lives that she touched. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., August 17, 2013, at the Baltimore Apts., 2036 Kachina Dr., Apt. #9, in Pueblo, Colorado

Pamela J. Horan, 40, of Englewood died Feb. 2, 1996 . Services were Feb. 6.
Mrs. Horan was born in Denver on March 15, 1955. She married Bruce Horan, 1978.
Survivors include her husband; daughter Lisa; son Timothy; mother Joyce Goodloe of Thornton; sisters Cynthia Navarrete, Gina Gibbons and Kristina Goodloe, all of Denver; brothers David Goodloe of Thornton, Raymond Goodloe of Denver, David Leifheit of Washington.

In 1937 Denver Matthias I. (Marg) is a carpenter, living at 259 S. Newton (Claude's addres). Mrs. Marg Goodloe is a "comp opr MGCo, also at that address.

Matthias Goodloe married Margaret B. Farmer May 1, 1937, recorded in Douglas County.

BRUCE
In 1920 Cletus is with her parents Joseph M. and Sarah (Mumma) Alishouse in Washington County - Joseph 1867-1932 is buried in Akron.
"He was the 7th child born to Jacob & Susanna Alishouse. He and Sarah were married June 8, 1893 in Odon, Daviess Co.,IN. Grant was 25 and Sarah was 17 years old when they married.They resided at the home place with Grant's mother for several years in Odon,IN. Then moved to CO in 1910. He was 6 foot 8 inches tall which was an uncommon height in 1900.His homestead was 16 miles south and 6 1/2 miles east of Akron, CO and it was a 1/2 section. "

In 1930 Greene County, Indiana, Mattias is 37, farming, with Cletus 34 Indiana, Ezra 14, and Raymond 12.
In 1937 Denver, Bruce B. (Cletus M.) is a brakeman for the C & S Ry, and they live at 2930 W. 7th. Ezra is an attendant at Silco Garages, living at 347 W. Gill.
Ezra married Mary Inez Baker in 1939 in Independence, Missouri.
In 1940 Raymond is a patient at the Kitsap, Washington, naval hospital, single, a machinists' mate.
Raymond, born April 3, 1917 in Washington County, died Nov 14, 1943 in the Phillippines.

In 1940 Denver, Bruce is a railroad conductor, born in Missouri, with wife Cletus, born in Indiana, both 44. One tree said she was Cletus Alishouse.
