, Zenas H. Sept 1883, Charlotte Nov 1885, and Roy W. Sep 1889 Colorado. Karl proved up a quarter in 5, 3S 42W in 1913. "M.A. Scheible and Herman Chase accompanied him as witnesses."

1913 "Karl Ripper made a trip to Haigler one day last week for supplies for the store at Armel."

1916 "Karl J. Ripper of Lansing Precinct, the present deputy treasurer of Yuma County, authorizes the Rattler to make formal abnnouncement that he will be a candidate for the nomination for the office of county treasurer on the Republican ticket in the direct primary election to be held on the second Tuesday of next September."

1917 "Mr. and Mrs. Will Liebeknow, of Needles, California, arrived in Wray last evening and are visiting the latter's sister, Mrs. Karl Ripper, and family."

1917 "Mr. and Mrs. Roy Baxter came over from their home in St. Francis Kansas, and remained over until Monday with the former's sister Mrs. Karl Ripper and family.  Monday Morning they left for Denver to visit Mrs. Baxter's parents and other relatives there.

The East Yuma History says that Willard "Roy" was a photographer in Denver and St. Francis, and took a photograph of William F. (Buffalo Bill)Cody in Denver soon before Cody's death.

Mary Eleanor Spurrier Baxter 1847-1935 and John Baxter 1842-1926 are buried in Armel - Samuel W. Baxter, per # 85345674, 1872-1941 is buried in Forest Lawn Glendale, Los Angeles. Next space is Helen Gertrude Baxter 1886-1970 # 85345650
