"M.A. Scheible and Herman Chase accompanied him as witnesses." 1913 "Karl Ripper made a trip to Haigler one day last week for supplies for the store at Armel."1916 "Karl J. Ripper of Lansing Precinct, the present deputy treasurer of Yuma County, authorizes the Rattler to make formal abnnouncement that he will be a candidate for the nomination for the office of county treasurer on the Republican ticket in the direct primary election to be held on the second Tuesday of next September."
