Joseph and Helena (Mahler) Robinson clan, Witherbee
Joseph A. Robinson married Helena N. Mahler in Fulton County Indiana October 4, 1878. In 1870 Helena was 16, the oldest of five kids of John G. and Madelena Maheler in Fulton County.
In 1880 Adams County Nebraska Joseph Robinson is 22, married to Helena 25, and they have Elroy 1.
In 1900 Adams County Joseph Oct 1857 has been married 22 years to Helena Feb 1854, both Indiana. They have Eathel D. July 1888, Berton C. July 1890, Earnest E. Feb 1892, Bessie G Dec 1893, and Laura M.. Oct 1895, all Nebraska. Helena has eight kids still living, so besides these five and Elroy, she's had two more.

Florida died Saturday. Born in Yuma, Colo., he moved to Longwood from Waukegan, Ill., in 1987. He was the owner-operator of Mike Robinson Heating and Air Conditioning. He was a member of the Catholic Church of the Nativity, Lake Mary. Survivors: wife, Jennie D.; daughter, Katherine Green, Longwood; sister, Priscilla Ford, Waukegan; brothers, Fred O., Waukegan, Archie, Zion, Ill.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Gaines Funeral Home, Longwood. ========================================== Priscilla, born September 6, 1909 married Elmer Ford (his first wife died 1930), and died October 31, 1999 in Lake County. |
Lottie died November 24, 1927 in Lake County Illinois - father was Norman E. Gibson, mother Emily G. Depew. and buried in Mount Olivet, Lake County.
Fletta - 1903-1922 is also buried in Mount Olivet.
Elroy registered for WWII in Howard Indiana, with no spouse listed.

Joseph A. Robinson in 17, 5N 42W homestead in 1917 - he listed his address as Lamont, Nebraska, and the witnesses Samuel S. Turner and Vernon Sheldon also had Lamont addresses.

In the 1920 census Burton is living in Yuma County with Joseph and Helena.
In 1930 Adams County Joseph and Helena have Bert, 40, living with them. Joseph and Bert are both farm laborers.
In 1940 Adams County Nebraska Burton is working for the WPA, married to Lela 25, and they have a son Tedafid, 1.
Joseph is also in 1940 Adams County, widowed, and daughter Mable Wittant, 44, is with him.
Buried in Juanita Cemetery, Adams County are Joseph A. 1857-1945, spouse Helena N. 1854-1935, Charlie A. 1882-1884
