John Fetrow, Witherbee
In 1888 a "F. Fetrow" was fined $5 for disturbing a meeting of the G.A.R. in Holyoke - making noise outside the meeting hall. The Holyoke newspaper said "the boys were more like mad men." implying he ws a young person.
John cash-claimed a quarter in section 17, 5N 42W in 1891.
One possibility : John Fetrow was born about 1868 in York Pennsylvania to Ambugh and Charlotte Fetrow.
Another possibility : John Fetrow was a pallbearer at the 1896 funeral of Mary Weigle in Decatur, Macon County, Illinois. This was John D. Fetrow, July 5, 1851 married 24 years to Mary E. April 24, 1847 - both Pennsylvania. They have Myrtle B. September 1882 in Illinois.
Mary died May 17, 1923, John September 3, 1933, and they're in Fairlawn Cemetery, Macon County
