Margaret Warren was born near Elkhorn, Nebraska on March 22, 1878 and died in Denver Colorado April 25, 1933 at the age of 55 years, one month, and three days. Her early life was spent with her parents and grandparents until 1890 when she moved to Trenton, Nebraska to live. On August 8, 1894 she was married to D. J. Neifert in St. Francis, Kansas. To this union were born seven children, two of whom, Marvin and John, preceded her in death about 18 months ago. The following with their father remain to mourn their great loss: Mrs. Grace Jewell of Wray, Colorado; Charles of Los Angeles, California; Albert of Yuma, Colorado; Mrs. Syble Hone of Las Vegas, New Mexico; Mrs. Vera Selby of Wray, Colorado; a brother Ole Warren of Rembrandt, Iowa; a sister Mrs. Carrie Widgery of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and nine grandchildren. All were present at her bedside as she passed away. After her marriage, she lived on a farm in Nebraska until 1910 when she came with her family to Colorado and settled on the homestead south of Yuma. Here she made many friends and was greatly admired for her beautiful character. She was always friendly and kind and ready at all times to give a helping hand to those in need. She was a loyal friend and neighbor, devoted wife and mother, and was beloved and respected by all who knew her. Early in life she gave herself to follow Christ and became an earnest and devout student of the Bible which she loved. More than 25 years ago she joined the Royal Neighbors of America and remained in active connection with the same until her death. The deepest sympathy of the whole community is accorded the bereaved family in their great loss. Funeral services were held in the Presbyterian church of Yuma, conducted by the Methodist pastor, Rev.
