David Logan and Jennie (McIntyre) Logan, Steffens
Possibly the David W. Logan in Decatur County, Kansas in 1900, with James Jan 1844 and Ada July 1853. They have Walter Jan 1881, David W. Aug 1884, Arthur J. Mar 1887, Clarence Oct 1889, George B. Dec 1892, and William D. Mar 1899 - all boys born in Kansas.
In 1910 David is alone in Yuma County, 24, born in Kansas, father Pennsylvania, mother Iowa.
In 1900 Frank McIntyre March 1878 and Jennie January 1877 are in Fremont County, Iowa, both born in Iowa.
In 1910 Jennie B. McIntyre is a dressmaker in McCook, Nebraska, 33, divorced, two children-one living. Hazel F is 7, both born in Iowa.

David proved up a quarter in 9, 1S 48W in 1913 - witnesses Lester A. Wood, John F. Wood, Arthur Logan, and George Hall, all of Yuma.
In 1913 David was a witness for George Hall's claim.

The marriage card says October 7, 1914 Jennie VanWormer, and that she was divorced for non-support in McCook in 1908. It could be Van Worner.....
"Dan David Logan" registered in Las Animas county, saying he was born August 15, 1884, was a farmer, nearest relative Jennie.
In 1920 Las Animas County David is a coal miner, 37. Jennie is 43, born in Iowa, with Hazle McIntyre 16, born in Iowa
David Logan and Jennie Logan divorced in Las Animas County in 1920.
And Fred M. Watson married Mrs. Jennie Logan September 8, 1920 in Las Animas County. Fred is married to Emma in 1930 and 1940 - so it must not have lasted long.
Probably the David Logan who married Lillie S. Eisel in Littleton September
18, 1920 is the same one......
Jennie is teaching school in Las Animas County in 1930 and 1940, divorced.
Mrs. Jennie Logan was teaching the Valaroso school in Las Animas County in 1919.
She's probably the Jennie B. Logan 1877-1963 in Fairview Cemetery, La Junta, Colorado.
David probably is the David Logan in 1930 Johnson County, Missouri, married to Sarah L., both 47. They're with Walter Y Knaus, 80, Sarah's father. John H. Eisel, born in North Dakota, father in Iowa is with them.
"Howard" Eisel, nephew, was with Mary Jane Rainey in 1920 Johnson County.
In 1940, David, a service station attendant, and Lillie S. are in Johnson County, with Elizabeth Brim, 16, step-grand-daughter.
Annettie E. Knaus - 80, widowed, is next house, where Arreta P Musick - her daughter (some Musick were north of Wray).
David - August 15, 1883 - August 27, 1968 and Lillie (Knaus) Logan April 10, 1882- Dec 18, 1967 are buried in Knob Noster Cemetery, Johnson County, Missouri.
| Kansas City Star August 28, 1968 DAVID LOGAN David Logan, 85, Knob Noster, Mo., died yesterday at the Johnson County Memorial hospital, Warrensburg, Mo. He was born in Smith Center, Kansas, and had lived in Knob Noster 45 years. Mr. Logan was employed by the Siberts Oil company until he retired in 1953. He leaves a son, Howard Logan, 9809 East Sixty-sixth Terrace, Raytown; a daughter, Mrs. Ercil Harrison, Warrensburg; three brothers, Dewey Logan, Los Angeles, Walter Logan, Smith Center and Arthur Logan, Grand Junction, Colo.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services will be al 2 o’clock Thurs- Holdren chapel, Knob Noster; burial in Knob Noster |
Ercil A. Harrison, born April 17, 1904, died August 23, 1992, and is buried in Warrensburg.
