Edwin T. Worthington

HISTORY OF MORGAN COUNTY, OHIO ..... Jesse Worthington was born in Cecil County, Maryland, in 1825. ... John Schofield, whose death occurred February 22, 1877, was a Friend and one of the well-known citizens of the township.  He married Miss Belinda H. Hobson in March of 1862.  She was born in Jefferson County Ohio, in 1834, and when thirteen years of age removed with her parents to Washington County.  After their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Schofield removed to Marion Township and settled on the farm where Mrs. Schofield and her family now reside.  Six children were born to them, all of whom are living.  Their names are Andrew T., Lydia J., Rachel A., Stephen H., Edith M. and Isachar.

One tree said Edwin was born in Chesterfield, Morgan County Ohio September 29, 1865, married Rachel Ann Schofield, had three children, and died in Colorado in 1912

He's with his large family in 1870 and 1880 Morgan County, Ohio

Edwin cash-claimed a quarter in 6, 2N 47W in 1890 - about five miles north east of Yuma.

He married Rachel December 15, 1894 in Morgan County, Ohio, and Jessie J. was born August 27, 1898 in Marion, Morgan County.

In 1900 Edwin September 1861, is living in Morgan County, Ohio.  He's been married five years to Rachel A., December 1865 Ohio, and they have Grace B., June 1895 and Jesse J. son, August 1899. both Ohio.  They're following Walter Worthington's family - he was born 1871.

In 1901 the Akron attorney August Muntzing filed suit to settle claims to that land and the half-section east of it.\

In 1910 they're still in Monroe County, adding Walter C., 8.  Sister Louisa Worthington, 60, is also with them
