Ezra Wissler
Ezra proved up 240 acres in 32, 2N 45W in 1918. Witnesses were Charles J. Yenter, John Hackworth, August C. Yenter, and Charles laFrance.
C.J. Yenter owned that land in 1920.
In 1929, Ezra was delinquent on taxes for four lots scattered around Eckley.
In 1930 Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Ezra G. (Wisster n the Ancestry index) is 47, farming, with Anna S. 42 Catherine 13 and Emma E. ten months, all born in Pennsylvania.
Ezra is listed in the 1934 Yuma County directory, Eckley area.
In 1940 Lancaster County, Ezra is farming, 57, with Annie 52, and Emma 10, all born in Pennsylvania, and they were in Lanaster County in 1935.
1991 "Emma Wissler Rhoads of Pennsylvania called inquiring about her father, Eza Wissler, born 1882, had a small store in Eckley about 1920.
Because of this note, the Ezra Wissler that's a carpenter in 1900-1910-1920 Lancaster County, living with parents, is probably the one.
Ezra Garfield Wissler 1882-1953 "Son of Frank and Emma Wissler" is buried in Lanaster County, Pennsylvania # 112741304, with Annie Sylvia (Book) Wissler 1887-1965.
She's probably the Annie S. Books born November 1888 in Pennsylvania, with parents Franklin and Elizabeth J. Books in 1900, 1910, and 1920 Lancaster County.
In 1920 Lancaster County, Catherine, single is with parents, and Catherine Books, 3 is also with them.
