In 1885 De Witt, Saline County, Nebraska Geo. and Anna E. have Jacob 19, Elizabeth 17, and Maggie 15.
Justis is 30, married to Mary 24, with Katie 6 and Elizabeth 1.
George proved up a quarter in 5, 4N 48W in 1894, and in 1895 cash-claimed an adjoining quarter to the west.
Son Justus did a cash-claim two miles east in 1891
Elizabeth Grebe cash-claimed a quarter in section 8 - touching George's - and Henry F. Schmale proved up a homestead next to Elizabeth in 1900.
In 1900 George Apr 1824 and Anna E July 1830 are living with son D..., a physician in Jefferson County, Nebraska.
Henry Schmale married Elizabeth Grebe October 1, 1891. One tree says Elizabeth was born in Ontario, Canada on July 10, 1867.
In Hope Church Cemetery, Jefferson County, Nebraska is ""George Grebe - April 14, 1824 -Jun 13, 1905, and "Frau von George Grebe - Anna Elisabeth Grebe - Jul 16, 1830 - Feb 21, 1903."
Probably another George Grebe who filed in 7N 50W - about twenty miles northwest.
In 1900 Henry Schmale Sep 1868 Iowa has been married 8 years to Elizabeth July 1867 in Canada, parents in Germany. They have Annie, Mar 1892, Maggie Aug 1893, Althea July 1898, and Ella Apr 1900, all in Colorado
The Yuma County quarters were delinquent in taxes in 1901 and 1905
1902 "Mrs. Henry Schmale and children left Tuesday evening for Jansen, Neb., where they will visit with her mother, Mrs. George Grebe."
1904 "Grandpa Grebe and Mrs. Schmale and children left for their home in Nebraska last Saturday."

In 1920 Yuma they just have Ella 12 and Edwin 9.
In 1930 Yuma Elizabeth G, 62, is widowed, and Edwin 20 and grandson Harold 10 are with her.
In 1900 Jefferson County, Nebraska Justus is a blacksmith. and Anna M. have Lizzie M. John H. Clara L. Anna E. Mary K. Clara was born in Colorado, so Anna was there in February 1890. John Thiese - "F-in-law" Jan 1828 in Germany, widowed, is also with them.
In 1920 Jefferson County, Nebraska Justus and Mary are alone
