Charles Henry and Sarah Edith (Richards) Sturgeon,    Mildred
 

One tree said Sarah was born February 17, 1893 in Ottawa County, Kansas.

In 1900 Osage County, Kansas, J.L. and Catherine M. Richards, both born in Illinois,  have Leavina born Feb 1883, Sarah Edith Dec 1886, and Elvira A. Dec 1891, all three born in Kansas.

In 1910 Idalia precinct, Yuma County, Colorado, James. L. 52 and Catherine M. 49 Richards have Arminty, 18.

James filed notice of homestead for two quarters in 19 and 20, 4S 45W in 1913, witnesses Clarence F. Mathis, Edwin Young, Andy M. Brown and John B. Collet.

James L. Richards - 1856-1919, # 73754710 and Catherin M. Richards 1860-1937 are buried in Hutchinson, Kansas.

In 1900 Barton County, Kansas, "Henry Sturgon" born March 1882 in Indiana, is with parents Isaac 42 and Mary C. 36.  Dora is 14, William 11.  Isaac 1856-1944 # 56905415 and Mary 1863-1958 are buried in Kansas City.

In 1910 Hutchinson, Kansas, Henery C. is a drayman, 28, born in Illinois, married four years to Edith S. 27 Kansas.  they are rooming with the James and Leoti Stanford family.

Charles proved up two quarters in 4 and 9, 3S 45W in 1918.

September 1914 "Mrs. Henry Sturgeon spent Sunday night with her mother, Mrs. Richards, on the south divide."

1914 Dewey Ridge items in the Wray Rattler "Mr. and Mrs. H. Sturgeon spent Decoration day at Idalia."

Charles Henry Sturgeon of Vernon registered for the draft in September 1918, born March 3, 1882, nearest relative Ada Sturgeon of Vernon.

In 1920 Howell County Missouri, C.H. is 38, born in Ohio, Edith S. is 36, Kansas, Catherine M. 4 and Rosa M. 2, both born in Colorado.

In 1925 Hutchinson, Kansas, C.H. is 43, S.E. 42, C.M. 9, P.M. 7, and they have a son L.H. 3

In 1930 "Henry C. Sturgeon", a butcher,  and Edith are both 46, in Hutchinson, Kansas, with daughter Catherine, 15,  and Pansy M. 13, both born in Colorado.  They said they'd been married 23 years, so that's about 1907.

Ralph Arthur Herren and Catherine Marie Sturgeon were married on 19 May 1937 in Junction City, Kansas. They had the following children:
    Roy Henry Herren was born on 27 Sep 1940 in farm house near Nevada, Missouri. He married Twilla King on 30 Jul 1963 in York, Nebraska. He died on 03 Aug 1963 in Heavner, Oklahoma.
     Robert Gene Herren was born on 13 May 1945 in City Hospital, Nevada, Missouri. He married Dewanna Jean Elder on 19 Aug 1966 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
  Ralph Ross Herren was born on 25 Feb 1947 in City Hospital, Nevada, Missouri. He married Diana Kay Meyer on 26 Aug 1967 in Sterling, Illinois.
 

 Buried in Bethany Cemetery, Oklahoma County.  Catherine - May 24, 1915-January 7, 2006 # 43094581

In 1940 Charles H., Sarah, and Pansy are all in Vernon County, Missouri, farming.

 Charles H. Sturgeon - 1882-1947 is buried in Newton Burial Park, Nevada, Vernon County, Missouri.  #61441242 says he's the son of Isaac Sturgeon and Mary Taner, and his spouse was spouse Sarah Edith Sturgeon 1883-1965.
