When Ralph Earl Spicer registered for WWI, he said he was born in Conifer Colorado (west of Denver)

When he registered for WWII, he said he was born March 12, 1894 in Jefferson County, Colorado.

In 1900 Marion County, Oregon George R. Spicer, born June 1856 Illinois, has been married 14 years to Mary G, Aug 1887 Kansas, Ralph E. Mar 1894 Colorado.

Four Linn Pioneers Are Called to Long Homes
Burial of Mrs. George Spicer took place at Miller Cemetery Tuesday afternoon, Rev. W. H. McLain of Shelburn conducting the services in the Shelburn Church. Mrs. Spicer was a sister of J. L. Oglesbee of Shelburn and died at her home in Silverton Sunday, March 1, 1931 at the age of 65. Ralph Spicer of Stayton is a son.

Obituary
George Spicer, 88, died at his home in Willamina Sunday morning March 31, 1935, and was buried at Miller cemetery Tuesday afternoon. His wife, formerly Katherine Oglesbee, died several years ago. Rev. W. H. McLain conducted the funeral at that place. Pleuro-pneumonia was the cause of death. Mr. Spicer lived in the Shelburn community several years ago; also at North Santiam, where he owned a small farm.

Ralph Earl died July 12, 1945 and is buried in Salem Oregon.
