Daniel J. and Fannie (Kephart) Line, Logan.

In 1870 Fannie Kephart is 10, with Henry 32 and Frances 28 Kephart in Frederick County, Maryland. Brothers are James 12, McClennan, 8, Carlton 6 and Clarence 3.

Mrs. Anne Rebecca Line wife of John Line died at home 109 E Washington St on Wednesday morning of paralysis aged 75 years She had several strokes sustaining the last one Sunday evening Deceased was born in Frederick county resided at Roxbury for several years. About a year ago the family removed to this city She is survived by her husband and the following children: Samuel, Fairplay; Daniel, Keedysville; Mrs Lydia Burgan and Mrs Estella Jackson, Sharpsburg; Mrs. Marietta Shank; John H., St James; Charles; Mrs. Rudella and Miss Margaret, this city; Fannie at home; brothers Ezra Beachley, Middletown; Daniel near Collinsvilkle; Jonas, Lappans; J Kenson Beachey, Hagerstown. She had been a member of the U B church for 43 years. The farm of one Line family was located just north of the Antietam battlefield, off Smoketown Rd
March 1879 "Tuesday March 11th, at the U.B. parsonage in Keedysville, by Rev J.W. Kiracofe, Mr. Daniel J. Line and Miss Fannie Kephart, all of this county.
Daniel J. Line, laborer, is in Washington County, Maryland in 1880, married to Fannie C. 19.
D.J. Line 34, is farming in Johnson and Kearney County, Nebraska in 1885. Fannie, 24, and Mollie, 4, all three born in Maryland.
Daniel proved up a quarter in 27, 4S 43W in 1893.
There's a Fannie G. Line - Oct 12, 1860 - July 8, 1896 in Fairview cemetery, in the same lot as Daniel.
In 1900 he's back in Maryland, widowed, with Mollie and son Clarence Franklin Line, born Dec 5, 1888 in Colorado. Clarence's WWII registration said he was born in Arapahoe County, where Logan was in 1888.
In 1910 Washington County he's with Mollie, who's married to William L. "Eakles"
In 1920 Washington County, still with William and Mollie "Cable"
Daniel J. Line - June 20, 1852 - Nov 14, 1935 is buried in Fairview Cemetery, Washington County, Maryland.
William L Eakle - Mar 7, 1873- July 7, 1932 and Mollie M. Feb 6, 1881 - June 28, 1947 and William's mother Susan A. Geltmacher Aug 8, 1842 Jan16, 1924 are i Mountain View Cemetery, Washington COunty.
CLARENCE FRANKLIN LINE, 85, of 4 Park Drive, Boonsboro, died at his
home on Friday morning.
Born at Arapahoe County, Colo., he was a son of Daniel Jacob and
Fannie Kephart Line, and the husband of the late Mrs. Helen Stouffer
Line. (she was born Nov 9, 1890, per one tree)
He was a member of the Eastern Hungarian Pigeon Club of Hagerstown;
Hagerstown Pigeon Bantam Assn., and was a retired carpenter.
His only survivors are nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the Bast Funeral Home in Boonsboro on
Sunday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Charles Birg will officiate; burial will
be in Boonsboro Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening
from 7 to 9.
