Mildred Brunson, born April 9, 1914 in Coolidge, Kansas, married Leslie Lee McMichael in Holly Colorado in 1933, and that she died in Springfield Missouri in 1998.
November 1929 "Betty Louise McMichael was born near Whitney, Texas, March 27, 1929, at the home of her
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Young. She and her parents spent the summer with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.J. McMichaels, at Clovis, New Mexico, and had just recently come to Lamar.
This was her first illness, and it was of short duration, her death coming as a great shock to her parents and near relatives. She leaves to mourn her death her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.L. McMichaels of Lamar, and aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. J.J. McMichaels of Lamar, her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Raney; and hergrandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Young of Whitney, Texas. "

is married-but-no-spouse in 1940 Craig, Colorado, a mail carrier. He married Anna Josephine in 1943, and they are buried in Craig# 28771818.
Mildred Alice McMichael, age 37 married Jason H. Cox, age 45 both of Garden City, Kansas, in Sharp County Arkansas March 25, 1952.
Jason H. "Jay" Cox 1907-1978 is buried in Seymour, Missouri, with Mildred A. # 27393859, April 9, 1914-October 23, 1998.
In 1905 Decatur County, Kansas, Clarence and Julia are living with daughter Ella Paxton, 27,
her husband F.A. 32, and their two kids. Ella had married William Edgar Woofter, then Thomas Alvin Paxton. With Thomas she had Linford 1902, Hilda 1904, and Otilla 1913.
Edgar Woofter, their grandson, born about 1897 in Kansas,
is also with them in 1900. Some Ancestry trees said that Edgar's parents were William Edgar Woofter 1873-1967 and Ella Dimmick.
Clarence and Julia are alone in 1910 Dundy County, Nebraska, and he is selling lightning rods.

In 1930 Denver, Thomas is a fireman in a hotel (probably runs the boiler), and they have Otilla 17, and Hilda Rehtus26, married but no spouse, and her kids Robert R. 7a nd William W. 4, both born in Nebraska.
In 1940 Denver Thomas and Ella have just the two grandsons.
Thomas A. Paxton 1873-1959 and Ella Mae Paxton 1877-1972 are buried in Chapel Hill, Centennail Colorado.
CHARLES DIMMICK
In 1900 Charles born Aug 1874 in Nebraska, is a telegraph operator in Norton County, Kansas, married three years to
Gertrude E. Jan 1876, Iowa. They have Almna March 1898 and Rennie D. Jun 1899, both born in Kansas.
September 1909 "Charles Dimmick the Haigler hotel man was a Wray visitor
Saturday between trains. Mr. Dimmick has sold his interest in the hotel
and has accepted the position of night operator at Haigler for the C. B. & Q."
April 1, 1910 " Chas. Dimmick and family moved to their homestead up north last week."
July 1910 "Chas. Dimmick, who has performed the duties of night operator here for some time
was transferred to Parks depot and began his work there Monday night."
September 1914 "Charlie Dimmick, 14 miles north of of Laird,
has been entertaining his mother, Mrs. Julia Dinimick, from Larimie Wyo.,
and his sister, Mrs. T. A. Paxton, of Arapahoe, Neb., who returned to
their homes last Tuesday."
October 1914 Yuma "Mrs. C. Dimmick, who had been visiting her daughter,
Mrs. J. O. Brunson, left for her home at Laramie, Wyoming, Tuesday morning."
September 1919 "Mr. Dimmick, postmaster and general
merchant at Laird, was in Wray Monday morning arranging with the Rattler
for the printing of some sale bills advertising a public sale of farm
machinery and stock at the Dimmick farm near Laird. The sale will be held
by Mansers Dimmick and Sons, and will be a good offering of farm stuff."
July 29, 1920 Yuma "Mrs. S. C. Dimmick and Mrs. Ed Wooster, of Brush, are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Brunson, south of Yuma. The guests are the mother and niece respectively of Mrs. Brunson."
Maude was in Laird in 1920, where her father Charles 45 is running a general store, with Gertrude (McClelland) 44 born in Iowa. Clarence 19 in Kansas, Maud 17 Nebraska, Floyd 16 Kansas, Marjorie 15 Kansas, Velma 13 Kansas, Teddie 12 Kansas, Florence 10 Nebaska, Meredith 9,
, Clara 8, Bernice 6, Carl 1, and a baby son all born in Colorado.
MAUD married Lionel Rife, and stayed in Yuma County.
April 6, 1922 "Chas. Dimmick and family of Laird have
moved to a farm near Fort Morgan, where they will make
their home in the future. Mr. Dimmick will try his luck
at farming irrigated land. For several years past Chas.
Dimmick has conducted a general merchandise store at
Laird and served in the capacity of postmaster also.
Clarence Dimmick, a son, was in Wray Monday
transacting business and called at this office
to have his name added to our subscription list."

formerly of Mt. Sterling, Illinois passed away at 8:05 p.m. Thursday, December 15, 2011 in the nursing home.
Born February 1, 1925 in Wray, Colorado a daughter of Almus and Hattie Hanshaw Dimmick,
Julia married Lozelle Dale Burnett on July 20, 1946 in Tempe, Arizona; he preceded her in death on
January 25, 2008.

1950 Greeley "Willis W. Decker and his bride, Nelda Lea Leonard,
pictured above , are breathing sighs of relief.
Twice their efforts to elope were thwarted. After vain attempts on Kansas
and again in New Mexico, they returned home and were married by
Judge D. F. Matheson.. The single ring ceremony was performed Friday
evening, Oct. 20. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur G. Leonard of 621 Ninth avenue
and his father is Lou Decker of Greeley.
For her wedding, the bride chose a dressmaker suit in a watermelon shade.
Attending the couple were Viola ftiqua and George C. Cook, both of Denver.
Following the ceremony, the bridal pair was honored at a reception at the Leonard home.
After the bride had cut and served her husband the first slice of the two tiered wedding cake,
it was served by Mrs. C. W. Keeton, the former Lots Leonard, sister of the bride, and Mrs. Ralph E. Eicher
and Mrs. Bill Lamb, both of Fort Morgan, aunts of the bride. Guests at the reception included
Miss Ruby Scott, who presided at the guest book, the attendants, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Krieger,
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Michallis of Longmont, Mr. and Mrs. Bob McClintock, Mr. and Mrs. Fat McDonnell.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Leonard, Larry, Douglas and Judy Kay, Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Keeton and Charles,
Mrs. Valda Rose and David, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Jackson, Mr. and Mrs. Walt Rumney, Esther Luti,

"Laython (Butch) Dimmick of Greeley passed away Monday, Nov. 24, 2014, at Hospice of Northern Colorado.
He was born July 17, 1940, in Fort Morgan to Ted and Sylvia Dimmick. He retired from the Greeley Fire Department in 1990.
He is survived by his wife, Erma, and daughters, Amy Maurer and Maureen Seller, and grandchildren, Ashley, Cassandra and Sean.

1972 Caldwell, Idaho "CALDWELL - Services for Bernice Ballard, 59, 109 North Georgia, who died Wednesday in a Caldwell hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Dakan Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Almus Dimmick, Tempe, Ariz., will officiate.
Interment will follow at Canyon Hill.
She was born July 12, 1913, in Laird, Colo., and later moved to Ft. Morgan, Colo., at the age of nine. She attended school there, completing her education in 1929. At that time she moved to Brighton, Colo. She later moved to Denver, and worked as a waitress and cook.
She married Kenneth Ballard May 3, 1958 in Stevenson, Wash., and the couple came to Caldwell in 1959, where they had since resided. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and a sister.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; five stepsons, Wayne, Jon, Larry, Donald, and Gerald, all of Roseburg, Ore.; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Barbara Buckridge, Winston - Salem, N.C.;
four brothers, Almus Dimmick, Tempe, Ariz., Clarence Dimmick, Tempe; Carl Dimmick, Brush, Colo, and Ted Dimmick, Greeley, Colo.;
five sisters, Mrs. Maude Rife, Wilder; Mrs. Maxine Wagner, Thousand Oaks, Calif., Mrs. Velma Leonard, Denver, Colo., Mrs. Clara Lamb, Loveland, Colo., and Mrs. Meredith Eicher, Ft. Morgan, Colo.; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren."

Hattie died March 19, 1999, last residence Tempe Arizona.
