Edward Oscar Coe was born Nov 19, 1860 in Knox County Ohio, son of Samuel Vance Coe and Sylvia Jane Blake.
The tree said Samuel 1836-1894 is buried in Alexander Cemetery, Hebbardsville, Ohio. # 122577057.
In 1880 Meigs County, Ohio, Luthur 52 and Elisabeth Witham 46 have Ella 26, Anna 24, Charles 14, Sarah 11, Fredrick 9, and Alma 5.
Luthur 1828-1897 and Elizabeth 1833-1905 are buried in Athens County # 21178524.

Edward O. Coe of Albany were
quietly married. Mr. Coe is a respected farmer of near Albany where the
happy couple will make their future home. Their many friends extend congratulations."

1915 Wray "O.E. Coe and family moved this week from the Sturgeon property to the home which Mr. Coe recently purchased in the southwest part of town."
Foster was a fullback on the 1916 football team, scoring three touchdowns in a win over Phillips County High.
In 1917 Wray, Foster Coe was one of the three members of the high school debating team. The Eaton, Colorado newspaper said "the Wray 'Rainbelters' won the debate. The judges, all of them members of the State university faculty, say that they did not excel us in argument or logic, but that they did surpass our trio in stage manners and powers of presentation. We think the judges are correct. Nature has been kind to the dry land trio, Mr. Foster Coe, Miss Vivian Ambler, and Miss Callie Lawrence. Everyone of them is possessed of a strong, resonant voice that carried out well in the gymnasium..... This is another proof of the strength of the county high school. Many of their students are from the farms. They come in rather late in years that the village or town pupls found in the district schools. Incidentally it may be mentioned that the Wray team was considerabley, perhaps two years, older than the members of the Eaton team."
He graduated in 1917 - those receiving diplomas were Dwight Lambert, Foster Coe, Wayne Kohlman, John Starnes, Clifton Smith, Lulu Coston, Vivian Ambler, Lucile Pryor, Harriett Short, Virginia Bruce and Glen Soper.
1917 "Foster Coe, who has been working the the Standard Lumber Company yards at this place has accepted a position with the Great Western Sugar Company at Fort Collins, Colorado, in their chemistry department."

In 1930 Corvallis, Oregon, Edward has no occupation, and Sarah is a nurse. Alma, a spice and medicine agent, is married to Ben Tomkins, a railroad laborer, 40, born in Missouri.
July 15, 1931 Athens Ohio Messenger "Edward O. Coe, 70, a former resident of near Albany, died Tuesday
at his home in Corvallis. Ore., where he had been a resident for the last 15 years. He left Ohio 20 years
ago. Burial will be made in Corvallis. Members of the family are a widow, a son, Foster W., Denver. Colo.;
two daughters: Mrs. Elizabeth Loar, Seattle Wash., and Alma at home; also three sisters: Mrs. J. D. Cooper,
Athens; Mrs. Lucy White, Albany; Mrs. J. E. Herron, New Marshfield and a brother P. V. Coe, Albany."

Lizzie Coe joined the Wray Presbyterian church in 1915.
In 1930 Seattle, Elizabeth Loar is widowed, a telephone clerk, 32, born in Ohio, with Robert, 4, born in Missouri.
Nephew Bert R. Ferrier, who was born to Marbert R. Ferrier and Anna Johnson June 13, 1909 in Whatcom County, Washington, is with her.
In 1940 Seattle, Elizabeth said she was divorced, with Robert C. 14. Sarah, C. Coe, 71, widowed, is with her.. SO is Eugene F. Coe, 13, born in Colorado.
One tree said she died Dec 26, 1975 in Seattle, had Robert Carl Loar Oct 4, 1925 in Kansas City, and he died Feb 1q3, 1986 in Kent, Washington.

Foster Coe married Maxine M. Kelley September 27, 1940 in Kitsap County, witnesses Betty Loar and Sarah Coe.
Foster W. Coe, born Nov 20, 1896 in Ohio died Feb 21, 1969 in Orange County, California.
