Festus M. Moody

In 1885, Elsie Seeley is 3, in Crawford County, Kansas, with R.W. 36 and S. Seely, 27. Brother J.L. is 4, and sister C.O. is 1.

In 1900, Elsie N. born March 1882 in Kansas, is with Reason W. Aug 1848 Indiana, married 21 years to Susan May 1857 Tennessee. John L. May 1880, Cyntha Feb 1884, James M. August 1889, and Fanny June 1894 were all born in Kansas.

In 1905 Crawford County Elsie is married to John Teal, 38, and they have Lenat, ten months. They're living with R.W. and Susse Swely, with James, 16 and Farum 11.

In 1910 Reason W. and Susan are farming in El Paso County, Colorado, with Sophona, 16, Elsie M. Pennington 26, and Leonard J. Teal 4. Reason's widowed brother Thomas Seely, 64, born in Indiana, is living with them, no occupation.

Reason W. Seely proved up 326 acres in El Paso County, Colorado in 1913.

In 1920 Sawyer County, Wisconsin, Nathan Pennington is farming 33, Elsie 36, with Lenard 15.

In 1930 Kansas City, Ed Pennington, a laborer, is 42, Elsie 41, a sales lady in a dry goods store.

Elsie Pennington, age 50, married Charles A. WIlkerson, 66, in Hot Springs, Arkansas May 26, 1932.

Elsie Wilkerson, age 51, married F.M. Moody Dec 22, 1935 in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

In 1900, Festus is in the Philippine Islands census, born about 1882 in Georgia, a private.

Festus proved up 200 acres in 4 and 9, 4S 43W in 1923. Witnesses were Louis Soehner of Wray, Ross P. May of Wray, William F. Barber of Idalia, and William McKinney of Wray.

  Festus Mitchell Moody crossed the border at Sweet Grass Montana in 1928, toing to Canada.In 1930 he's at the sanitarium in Johnson City, Tennessee, single.

He arrived there March 23, 1929, discharged April 22, and was going to resume his occupation of farmer at Wray, Colorado.

In 1940 Festus, 58 and Elsie, 58, are at the Soldiers & Sailors Home in Monte Vista, Colorado. Both had been in Hot Springs Arkansas in 1935.

Elsie Moody 1882-1956, is buried in Fort Logan, Colorado Section H, Site 412g. Festus 1881-1969 is also buried there # 3362006.

Reason Wellington Seeley 1846-1926 is buried in Denver, Fairmount # 132722250.

Susan Seely born May 21, 1857 in Tennessee, died Jun 11, 1949 in Contra Costa County, father Thomas.
