Cuyahoga County, Ohio naturalization records have a handwritten card "Kurzidin, Hugo, DOA 3-82, "12-15-83" - that might be the date of intention to naturalize.
In 1891 Leobschutz, Germany, Hugo Kurzidim was baptized - "Godfather: Hugo Kurzidim, painter currently in Carleton, Nebraska, United States Godmother: Emma Kurzidim, currently chef in San Francisco, San Francisco, California, United States "
"Miss Emma Kurzidim" is a domestic, living at 2045 Howard in the 1891 San Francisco directory.
She might be the Emma Kurzidin arriving in 1884 New York from Bremen, age 27.

When Paul and Louise Kurzieim had Louise in 1892, they named Hugo Kurzidim, "currently in Idalia, Colorado" as godfather.

Hugo proved up a quarter in 31, 3S 43W in 1896. 
In 1900 Idalia precinct, Hugo Kurzidin is a fresco painter, immigrating in 1882, living alone, born Feb 1857 in Germany.

In 1903 Pueblo, Colorado Herman Kurzidim is a painter for Louis Florman, rooming at 321 Santa Fe Avenue.
In 1909 Pueblo, Colorado Herman and Hugo Kurzidim, both painters for L. Florman Merc Co, live at 115 N. Mechanic. In 1912 Hugo is a fresco painter, still at 115 N. Mechanic. In 1920 Pueblo, Colorado, Hugo is a "printer", 63, born in Germany, immigrating in 1881, naturalized 1886, single. Hugo "Kurzidin" was probated in Pueblo July 5, 1921.
