Maryville Resident.
The funeral of Mrs Samantha Jester, who died at the home of her daughter,
Mrs. Blanche Alfree at Newton, la., Tuesday morning was held at the
Prict-McNeal undertaking parlors at 2 o'clock this afternoon. The Rev.
S. A. Coile, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, officiated. Burial
was in Miriam cemetery. "

Earl Seward Jester 1877-1956 # 27445650 is buried in Maryville. The California death records have him born in Colorado, dying Feb 19, 1956 in Los Angeles County, mother's maiden name McKackin.
Jo Ann Jester, born at Mailand Missouri, married a Matley, then in Sioux City, Iowa 1937 married a Claude Tuttle.

April 14, 1955 "MARY PIERPOINT JESTER DIES IN SANTA MONICA, CAL.
Word has been received in Maryville of the death cf Mrs. Mary Alice
Pierpoint on Apr. 9. She was born Jan. 1. 1876 and lived many years
in Nodaway county. She was married to Earl Jester Apr. 5. 1902.
Survivors are her husband, Earl Jester, two daughters. Mrs. A. 2xcrih
Hollywood, and Mrs. R. K. Montgomery, Los Angeles, grandchildren, j
and a Mrs. R. E. Ferguson, St. Joseph. Mrs. Kermey, Maryville, is a niece."
October 1, 1956 "Mrs Gordon Roberts and Helen and Mrs. Dave Roberts attended
the burial service of the ashes of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Jester at Miriam
cemetery in Maryville Saturday conducted by the Rev. Monk Bryan. Mrs. Claude Tuttle, Reseda, Calif., came for the burial of her parents, who were former Maitland residents. "
