John E. and Lula (Richardson) Harder, Lansing
In 1896 Henryville, Indiana, Pearl Richardson had perfect attendance in grammar school.John proved up 320 acres in 4 and 5, 3S 43W in 1921, and another 360 acres "Stock" in 1924.
In 1930, all four are back in Indianapolis, where John is a water sander in an automobile factory.
In 1940, John is working for a rubber factory, and only James, a grocery manager, is with them.
John registered for WWII, living in Indianapolis, working for the U.S. Rubber Products.
Lula Pearl Harder -1893-1984 is buried in Indianapolis # 113783275.
Margaret Esther "Peg" Bol, 90, Lebanon, died Saturday, June 13, 2009, at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon. Mrs. Bol was born in Wray, Colo., on Oct. 10, 1918. She was the daughter of the late John Edward and Lula Pearl (Richardson) Harder. On Dec. 5, 1943, in Indianapolis, Indiana she married Raymond Egbert Bol. Mr. Bol died on Dec. 18, 1991. Margaret moved from Colorado to Indianapolis as a young girl. She moved to Lebanon from Indianapolis in 1948. Prior to her marriage she worked at Real Silk Hosiery Mill in Indianapolis. In 1965, she began working for Commercial Filters in Lebanon and retired in 1980. Through the years she also helped her husband on the family farm west of Lebanon. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed handcrafts and visiting with her friends and neighbors. She was a member of the Central Christian Church in Lebanon. Survivors include sons Steven R. Bol of Bremo Bluff, Va., and Mikel R. (wife Marcia) Bol of Zeeland, Mich.; grandchildren Jennifer C. (husband Richard) of Orlando, and Jakob M. Bol of Charlottesville, Va.; and great-grandson Tyler Baker of Orlando. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Louis Harder. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, at Myers Chapel of Memories; Pastor Traci Matherly officiating. Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon. |
