Arthur and Iva Mae Barnes

In 1900 May P. Bucklew, 11, is in Phillips County, Kansas with Ike J. Buklew 40 and Hattie E. Bucklew, 36.
In 1905 Ellis County, Kansas May Bucklew, 5, is with Isac J. and Hattie Bucklew.
In 1910 Atwood Kansas "Riley" Barnes is 31, Iva 21, Archie 3 and Florence ten months.
Arthur Melville Barnes registered for WWI in Laird, saying he was born April 2, 1879, and was a farmer. with "one eye gone,"
In 1920 Arthur, born in Nebraska, is married to Mae M. Barnes, 30, born in Kansas. Archie H. 13, Nebraska, Florence E. 10, Kansas, Robert M. 7 Colorado, Meriel M. 5 Colorado, Roymond L. 3, Colordo and Lula M. 1 Colorado are with them.
In 1930 Todd County, South Dakota Arthur and Iva have Robert M. 17, Rayond L. 14, Lula M. 13, Ruth L. 9, Mildred J. 6, Glen A. 4, They also have Robert Leach 25, daughter Florence Leach 21, and Robert Leach 1.
In 1940 Tripp County South Dakota Robert C. and Florence E. Leach have Robert L. 11 and Gary D. 5 with them. They also have sister Ruth Barnes, 19, born in South Dakota. If that's right Arthur left Laird right after the 1920 census.
Archie H. Barnes 23 and Mary A. Barnes 20 have their own household in 1930 Todd County .
Lula Barnes married Lowell Markus, 22, April 13, 1935 in Fall River County, South Dakota, but resided in Lakeview, Todd County.
Lowell and Lulu are in Ada County, Idaho in 1940 - were in Tripp County SD in 1935. They have Lawrence D. 3 and six-month-old Louis D.
Lula - birth date of March 15, 1917 - was residing in Montrose Colorado in 1990. She died November 9, 2003.. Lowell, last address Montrose, died March 24, 2004. They're buried in Cedar Cemetery, Montrose
There's a Marion M. Markus - Marh 9, 1977 - March 26 1997 in the same cemetery.
In 1940 Todd County, South Dakota Arthur M. and Iva M. have Mildred 17 and Glenn 15 with them.
Archie and Mary have six kids, also in Todd County in 1940.
Arthur M. Barnes 1879-1952 and Iva Mae Barnes 1880-1980 are buried in the Valentine Nebraska cemetery.
MERLE M. RAMIREZ, 81, died Oct. 14 in Denver. Services were Oct. 17, with burial at Olinger Evergreen Gardens. Mrs. Ramirez was born in Laird on Dec. 14, 1914. She married Sam Ramirez, 1958. She was a nurses' assistant. Survivors include her husband; sons Dennis Murray of Golden, Marvin Murray of Arvada; sisters Florence Leach of South Dakota, Lula Markus of Montrose, Mildred Young of California; brothers Glenn Barnes of South Dakota, Archie Barnes of Oregon.
