In 1900 Garfield County, Oklahoma, Leroy Pryor born Oct 1849, married 35 years to Sarah January 1850, both bon in Ohio. Loyd H. was born January 1879, Effie R. Feb 1882, and Ivy V. January 1888, all three in Kansas.

In 1900 Garfield County, Oklahoma, Stella was born Sept 1889 in Kansas, Janey January 1892 Kansas, Anna July 1894 Oklahoma, and Dorothy May 1897 Oklahoma. Alex Droke March 1866 in Illinois and Minerva July 1869 INdiana have been married eleven years.

Stella is with sister Francis Ward in 1905 Sedgwick County, Kansas. Francis is 31, married to M.E. 38, and Mattie Smith is 19.

In 1910 Garfield County, Lloyd is teaming lumber, 30, Stella M. 23, married six years.... Vera M. is 4, Virgil S. 2, both born in Oklahoma.

In 1930 Yuma County, Lloyd H. is farming, 52, with Sella M. 40, Leola V. 18 born in Oklahoma, Dale D. 15 and LeRoy D adopted son 1, both born in Coloado.

July 25, 1935 "The Lloyd Pryor family are enjoying a visit with her mother, Mrs. Droke, and a brother and sister, all of Enid, Oklahoma. They, with Mr. and Mrs. Pryor and LeRay, drove to Greeley and LaSalle for a visit over the week end with Virgil and Dale Pryor, who are working in that section."

July 27, 1939 "Mrs. Stella Pryor has been enjoying a visit with her mother, Mrs. M. Droke, and also with her brother, T.B. Droke, of Carrier, Oklahoma."

In 1940 Joes, Stella is widowed, 50, with grandson Leroy D. 11. She's next to Mary J. Blank, also widowed.

April 8, 1948 "Miss Imogene Wince spent the week end in Yuma with her grandmother, Mrs. Pryor." 1963 "Gordon Pryor of Denver brought his grandmother Stella Pryor of Yuma here on Saturday. She accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Scott Wince to Kansas, where they are visiting his mother, Mrs. Jamison of Mankato and the Kyle Burr family in Cuba, Kansas.

Della A. (Gigoux) Pryor 1896-1974 is also buried in Evans, # 13959371.

DALE

July 2, 1953 Greeley "Graveside services for Dale D. Pryor, 38, former resident of Greeley, will be held at 4:30 o'clock Friday afternoon at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Greeley. Pryor was killed in an auto accident Sunday night near Fairplay. He lived here for several years, employed at Crystal White laundry and in farm work. Pryor moved to Castle Rock last fall and previously had lived at San Diego, Calif. Survivors are his wife Mrs. Ina I. Pryor; a son, Gordon Dale Pryor; his mother, Mrs. Stella Pryor of Yuma; two sisters and a brother, Vera Wince. Leola Lasater and LeRoy Pryor; and his grandmother Minerva Droke of Enid, Oklahoma.


July 9, 1953

1959 Castle Rock, Colorado "Airman Gordon D. Pryor, son of Mrs. Ina Pryor, is stationed at Point Mugu, California, which is a naval air missile base. He reported for active duty on Feb. 27."


In 1960 Etta Gordon died, listing nine kids, including daughters Mrs. Ina Pryor of Castle Rock, Luria Marr of Denver.

When Marvin Gordon died in 1975, one survivor was sister Ina Pryor of Greeley.
SSDI has Ina dying in 2005, last residence Wickenburg, Arizona.


VIRGIL

In 1920 Weld County, Edgar Gigoux is 36, Iva 31, Edva 3, and Alice 1. Earl 28 and Della 24 are next to them, then Melvin 34, Arlena 19, and Eva seven months are next.

In 1930 Weld County, Edgar is 47, Iva V> 42, Edva A. 13, Alice G. 11, and Ray 8.
April 3, 1931 "Melvin Gigoux, 45, of Greeley, was instantly killed and his brother, Earl, 38, suffered a fractured skull and internal injuries today as their automobile crashed head on into a Colorado Motorways bus, three miles north of Castle Rock, on the Denver-Colorado Springs highway. The Gigoux brothers were returning from Enid, Okla;, where they had attended the funeral of their father, Joseph Gigoux. On the snow covered paving just north of Castle Rock the bus driver was forced to apply his brakes quickly as another car came to a stop in front of the bus. The bus skidded to the wrong side of the road and the driver, seeing Gigoux's car, northbound, coming toward him, tried to drive the bus into a ditch. Gigoux's car was caved in, and transmission driven into the driver's seat. It required 30 minutes to extricate Earl from the wreckage. His brother was dead when pulled from underneath the machine. None of the occupants of the bus was injured. Earl is not expected to recover. He was brought to Castle Rock for medical attention. Gigoux and his wife, Delia, make their home on a ranch near La Salle, Colo."

"Melvin Gigoux, 45, has been an employee at King Lumber company for the past four years, and with his wife Lena, and eleven year old daughter, Eva, made his home at 715 Seventh street. When he and his brother left Greeley for Enid, Okla., on March 22, Mrs. Gigoux and her daughter went to stay with friends, the Charles F. Johnsons, at 1430 Tenth street, during his absence. Mrs Lena Gigoux is an employe of the F. W. Woolworth company here. Mrs. Melvin Glgoux had been expecting her husband and his brother to return home almost any time, but storms and bad roads had made the men decide to delay their return somewhat. They had been called to Enid at the death of their father, Joseph Gigoux. It was understood here that when the two left for home, they started up thru eastern Colorado, but were forced to turn back on account of bad roads, and went down into New Mexico, crossing Raton pass. Earl Gigoux, 38, has been farming for several years southeast of the Latham reservoir near La Salle. He has no children; the only daughter of the Earl Gigouxes died a year or two ago, only a few mouths old. His wife is Mrs. Delia Gigoux, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse L. Doney who farm near the Gigoux place. Mrs. Earl Gigoux, informed that her husband iad been injured, left for the Colorado General hospital in Denver, where he was being moved, accompanied by her sister, Mrs. Ed Lott of Evans and a brother, Claude Doney. Ed Gigoux, a brother of Melvin and Earl, farms near the Milton reservoir. Two sisters live in Oklahoma. The body of Melvin Gigoux is being returned here by Macy's mortuary."

In 1940 Alice J. is 21, married to Ray E. Jackson, and they're working in a variety store in Sterling, Colorado.

March 17, 1938 "Virgil Pryor of LaSalle and Mrs. Gigoux of Evans were issued a marriage license. Virgil is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Priyor and a former Joes boy."

August 1938 Greeley "Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lasater and son, of Yuma, are working at the Virgil Pryor home."
(Tom Lasater was a well-known home builder in Yuma.)



March 7, 1940 Joes items "Mr. and Mrs. Ed Gigoux and son, of Greeley, visited here over the week end with their daughter, Mrs. Glenn Blank. The group enjoyed a family dinner Sunday at the Scott Wince home. Mrs. Stella Pryor and LeRoy were also included. Mrs. Gigoux is an aunt of Mrs. Wince."

In 1940 Yuma County, M. Glenn is 25, Edva A. 24, Glennyola A. 3, Barbara R. 2, and Betty Lou 1.

October 2, 1941 "Mr. and Mrs. Ed 'Gigioux' of Greeley, moved in last week with their daughter, Mrs. Glenn Blank, and family. Mr. Gigioux expects to work at farm work."

September 18, 1958 "Mrs. Edva Blank received word on Sunday that her father, Ed Gigoux of Hayward California had died early Sunday with a heart attack. Edva left at once for Denver and accompanied her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Jackson. She phoned back that the funeral was being held at 'Wayward' on Tuesday afternoon and interment made thre."

August 21, 1975 "Mrs. Iva Gigoux's daughter, Mrs. Alice Jackson of Berkeley Heights, New Jersy, is spending time with her mother. Mrs. Don Geringer and Mr. and Mrs. Millard Smith of Denver also visited Mrs. Gigoux."

In September 1965 "The Scott Winces were in Yuma Sunday attending a family dinner at the home of Mrs. Stella Pryor. An honored guest was Mrs. Della Pryor of Greeley, wife of the late Virgil Pryor."

Leaola P. Lasater 1911-1997 is buried in Yuma, # 60544776, with Thomas 1911-1990.
