May B. April 1871 Kansas. Alta B. April 1894 and Clayton A. March 1898 were born in Kansas.

Frank's will published in November 1921 left his land to May, and after the death the land would be devised to his sons Clayton, Carlos, and Eldon, and that they would give $3,000 cash to daughters Alta B. Wason of Stratton and Freda Spears of Hughes.
1924 "Mrs. Mae Hobbs left for Leavenworth, Kansas for a week's stay. When she returns, she will be accompanied by her sister, who will make her home with Mrs. Hobbs."
In 1930 May is widowed, 58, living in Yuma County. Eldon 22, a teacher, is with her, and so is her sister Idella Blell 55, Kansas.
In 1936 Denver, May B. (Widow Francis M.) is living at 1379 Detroit.
May is buried in Cope beside Francis.

CLAYTON
Cora Cross, age 17, married Clayton Hobbs, age 19 at Wray on November 21, 1917. John Charles May, missionary, of Independence Missouri, performed the ceremony.
Clayton married Alberta Jackson August 23, 1922, recorded in Yuma County.
September 28, 1924 Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Hobbs had a nine-pound son.
May 14, 1925 Hughes "Mrs. Clayton Hobbs was visiting with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Sam Jackson over the weekend."
January 1927 "The Clayton Hobbs family, of Abarr, accompanied by Mrs. May B. Hobbs and Idella Bell, spent Sunday at the Carlos Hobbs home near Kirk."

October 1928 "the Carlos Hobbs family, of Elizabeth Colorado, arrived in Joes Saturday for a visit with the home folks. They exepect to spend the winter here."
December 1928 "Mrs. Cora Hobbs and small daughter Dorothy were both quite ill last week. Ms. Hobbs was suffiienctly recovered Monday so that she weknt to Kirk to help care for her sister Mrs. Harland Pratt, who is now ill."
Carlos is married to Cora 26, Missouri, and they're farming in Kit Carson County in 1930, with Dorothy 5 and Keith seven months.
In 1940 Kit Carson County, Cora is 36. Dorothy 15, Keith 10, and her mother Bertie M. Bolin 64 is with them.

ELDEN
In 1930 Elden Hobbs of Denver was the state field secretary for the Bible Conference.
December 20, 1930 Greeley "Eldon Hobbs, field secretary ot the Colorado Christian Endeavor Association,
with headquarters in Denver, is visiting here during part of the holidays as a guest of Bob Gilbert.
Mr. Hobbs will return to his home in Joes for Christmas.
Both Mr. Hobbs and his host attended the boys' conference at Indian Hills a year ago. "
Greeley Colorado, August 27, 1935 "Elden Hobbs, graduate of Colorado State College of Education,
and Miss Ruth Parker will be married in an attractive ceremony at the Hast. Sitl'j Christian church in Denver
next Saturday evening. Rev. J. J. 7ni(cMnFiO]i will perform the service before a large group of guests.
Miss Jennie Parker, sister of the bride, will be maid of honor and Allen Koehler, best man, Virginia Smolenskia to be
flower girl. Miss Parker has chosen to wear white georgette crepe over satin, and will carry a shower bouquet
of bride's roses. Her veil will be of tulle. Her sister is to be gowned in a peach-colored georgette with a matching hat.
Miss Smolenske will wear pink net over satin and have rosebuds in her hair.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Parker of Denver and attended Colorado Woman's College.
Mr. Hobbs, son of Mrs. Mary Hobbs. attended the University of Colorado before coming to Colorado State College,
from where he received an A. B. degree. He is in business with a Denver firm, and the couple will make their home
in that city."
Elren is an accountant in 1940 Denver, with Ruth, both 32, Allen 3, and Larry 1.
In 1948 he's an agent for the Texas Company, and they live at 2911 Clayton.
June 30, 1966 Joes items "Word was received here on Monday announcing the marriage of Mrs. Sarah Catherine Burke
and Elden Francis Hobbs on the 26 of June at Montview Boulevard Presbyterian Church at Denver. Elden grew up near Joes and attended high school here."
Elren died in February 1987.
